We gainan experience of the self withthe guru.He introducesustoourselves.Whenwe come tomeet
ourselvesandknowourselves,we bowdownbefore ourownsouls.Soeffortlessly,one thinghappens.
Our external questforGodwasnot yieldinganything.We feel the presence of Godwithinus.Our
external questceasesuponthishappening.We “feel”Godinside us.We experience the satisfactionof
knowingwe foundGod.Itis a human’sgreatestsense of satisfaction.Noyearningforaquestremains.A
sense of satisfactiongetsplantedwithinus.We lookforhappinessinthe same wayas we lookforGod
outside us.Observe the patternsof yourownlife.Yourfocusisalwaysonthe external.Youlookfor
happinessinthings.Inanimate objectscan’tgive youhappiness.Theycanonlygive youcomfort.You
nexttry to gethappinessfromlivingpeople be ityourkidsorolderson.If not the olderson,you turn
towardsthe youngerson.If not him,thenthe olderdaughter.If notthe olderdaughter,thenthe
youngerdaughter.Yourquestlingersandthe projectsonto yourkids,wife,friends(maleorfemale).
Our questisoutwards.
Why,we’re dependentonotherseventofindGod.We’re dependentonaguru,statue or a holyplace.
In the same way,we’re dependentonothersforourhappiness.Justasyoucannot findGodoutside
neithercanyoufindhappinessoutside.Whenyoutrytolookfor God outside,youharborexpectations
that youwill gethappinessfromaSwami (holyman) ora place.In the case of happiness,we hold
expectationsfromothers.Thisisthe rootof the problem.Expectationsare the cause of all sorrow. On
the basisof myexperience,todayIcan sayI didwhat I didwithoutexpectation.Expectationsare linked
withthe body.The momentyouholdan expectation,recognizethatyouare lingeringatthe bodylevel
or beingruledbythe body(bodyrepresentsthe materialorphysical plane ortendenciesof the ego).
One jobis done byone while the otherisbya multitude.Whenwe workwhilebeingatthe bodylevel,
we may workwithexpectations.Theymayormay not thenbe fulfilled.Theymaybecome the cause of
sorrow.But whenwe workinour respective professionswithoutexpectation,we don’twork.(Pointing
fingerupwards) He (God) doesthe work.Whenuniversal energydoesthe work,itgoesbeyondall
expectations.I’mnarratingmylife experiences.Secondly,we don’tneedtoleave ourworldlyexistence
or our familiesforthis.
If you’re a student,studywell.Butstudywithoutexpectations,If youdobusiness,doitwell without
expectations.If you’re anindustrialist,runyourindustrywithoutexpectations.If youworkat a job,do
so withoutexpectation.Youdon’tneedtorunawayfrom itall.You don’tneedtoabandonthese karmas
(inthiscase whateveryou’re doingfora livingthoughkarmaoftendenotesthought,wordordeed) or
leave anythingbehind.
There are some guruswhowill sayleave thisbehind.Leave thatbehind.Andthenwhateverremains
afterthat, give itto me.Here it isnot so.Stay withitall.Continue asyoudo but withoutexpectations.
Whenyoudo so withexpectations,you’ll be doingsoaccordingtoyour limitations.Whendoingso
withoutexpectations,youroutputwill be ingreatmultifold.Whenyouleave behindexpectations,work
takesplace at the soul level.
Some oldfriendsaskme howin22 years,Samarpanreacheda global scale.Itell themitstemsfrom2
things.
1. I didas my innerguidance dictated.Ididasmy innerguruguided.
2. I didso withoutexpectation.Forgetaboutmoneytosustainthings.If Ispent2 hours teaching
someone todomeditation,Ididn’texpectthemtoregularlymeditate.Itwasmyjobto tell them
howto meditate irrespectiveof whethertheyfollowedupwithitornot.
Whenwe work withoutexpectationsinthisfashion,automatically,the scope forthe outcome comesto
be.Andthat workperformance isgenerallythe best.Sostartfirstwithyourself.Sitinmyname for30
minuteswithacalm focusirrespectiveof whethermeditationhappensornot.That’snot inyour scope
of control butsittingdownis.If you sat downwiththe hope thatyou will fall intomeditation,itmeans
youhave an expectation.Sitfor30 minutesinthe name of that holyand pure soul withwhomhundreds
of thousandsof holyand pure soulsare entwined.Butjustremembertositwithoutexpectation.Asyou
sitwithoutexpectation,youwillfeel acalminthat ideainand of itself.
You’ll thenheara brahmanaad( a hummingor buzzingorconch inear/seashore like sound) from
within.The nullitywillprevail.(i.e.youwill becomeemptyandfree andlightwithoutbodilysensations
and will be filledwithvibrationsorcosmicenergy). However,evenif yourspouse comesintoyour
proximity,thissoundwill cease.Why?Because theyare adifferentsoul.Soif everypersoninthe world
createdsuch a space (whichfacilitatesone fillingwithcosmicenergyorvibrations),maybeone day,
worldpeace can happen.
The instillingof the traitof thismeditationisaunique attemptatworldpeace.Idon’tspeakof world
peace.We can start withourworld.By worldpeace,Imeanour surroundingaura.Justimagine the idea
of bringingpeace tothe whole world.It’snotpossible.Moreover,whathave we todo withthe whole
world?Peace shouldbe rightbyus. If we are not amidstpeace andprofesstobringworldpeace,it’s
unfair.If everyone makestheirpersonal worldpeaceful thenperhapsworldpeace canhappen.Somake
your ownworldor aura peaceful throughmeditation.
Thenno matterwhere in the worldyougo, your“little”worldwill remainwithyou.Secondly,upon
wearingthe clothesof anascetic,you mayrun away fromsocietytothe jungle.Butthat isnot our
objective.Thisisnotsobecause we are to be withour familiesorthe materialisticworld.Butwe are to
be like the lotus. (BythisSwamiji symbolizeshow the lotusblossomseventhoughithasmudisbeneath
it.It nevergetssuckedinby the mud). Andwe are to make the pathfor holyand pure gurusto come.
It’sbecause asceticscan’tdo thisthat we have beensent.Sofocuson thismission.
Thissamarpan meditationtraithasbeeninstilledintoapure soul viaa pure soul.Thismeditationformat
isunlike anyof the othermeditationtechniquesbeingpractisedinsociety.The techniqueswhichare
dominantlyoperatinginsocietyatlarge are of three types.Youmaycorrect me if I am wrongincase
there’ssomethingIam notaware of.But thisishow I see it.
One isabout the focuson one’sbreath. The otheris like abhastrikapranayamawhichisan exertionof
one’sbreathina givenway.The thirdis focusingonthe flame.These all helpone tobecome tought
free.Samarpanmeditationdoesn’thave anyof these.It’snotderivingfromanythingyou“did”.There’s
no roomfor “me” in or “doing”in this. You justsitand the samarpan meditationtraitgetsinstilledand
youmeshwiththe forcesof cosmicenergy. A positive setof traitsare instilledatthispoint.
A guru won’tsayto leave behindbadenergybecauseyouwon’thave bad energytodoso. This
meditationisthe instillingof aholyandpure trait viaa holyandpure soul.Eventhe mostmisguided
personupongettingthistrait,will graspthe goodif evenmomentarily.It’saseparate matterthatthe
persondoesn’tbuild uponthis.Howeverbadthe person,theygotthe epiphanyif evenforamoment
because of the effectof the collectivity.Sothroughthis,theybecame aholyandpure soul.Inthat
instance,the grace of the guru prevailed.Sojustimagine thatif the grace of the guru couldbe bestowed
insuch a brief moment,howmuchgrace couldbe poureduponyouif you were like thatall the time?
There are some whocan smile forphotosbutactuallytake on a glumlooktheirwhole lifelong.Whynot
keepthe smilingface yourwhole life muchlikeyoudidinthe photo?It’sas thoughthe clock hasstruck

So justas youwere a holyand pure soul for some brief instance,anenergytraitwastransferred
betweenaholyandpure soul to a holyand pure soul.Nomethodwasinvolvedinimpartingthis.For
some time,we needtobecome aholyand pure soul so thatwe maybecome capable of graspingthat
trait of samarpan meditation. That trait flowsoninthe midstof the guru’spresence.(Note:Itdoesn’t
denote the literal presence of aguru right byyou butalso onexperiencingthe presence onanenergetic
level).There’snosuchthingasthe guru’s grace.
It’smuch like awaterfall.It’ll keepflowingsowhenyougounderneathit,you’ll have abath.Itdoesn’t
do anythingandisstationaryinits limitations.Itcan’tcome to yourhome and give youa bath. Inthe
same way,the energyflowsfromthe medium24/7.It’s abouthow longyou are able toremaininthe
state of beingholyandpure.Soit mattersnot how much of the opportunityyougotto be in the realms
of the guru’spresence. Itmattershowmuchgood use youmade of the guru vicinities.Justthinkabout
it.You’ve beengettingitforyears. I gotit for 3 days.
I got 3 dayswithShivBaba andwiththese 3 days inmy hand,I’ve spentmywhole life withthe guru
presence.Why?Because Iexperience the guruingurukarya(communityservice asperthe directionof
the guru energies).The gurupresence isasthoughthe guru isliterallywithme becauseIamentwined
withguru karya.So inguru karya,we experience the presence of the guru.SothenI didn’tneedthe
physical presence of the guru.Soyou’ve beengettingthe physical presence of the guruforyears.One
Patel (acommonIndianlastname and caste fromGujarat, India) (person)ismakingafilmonme.I am
guidinghimtonot make the filmsolelyfocusedonme.Rather,itshouldbe focusedonthe conceptof
the guru.
Showingconcernorlovingone andall is intrinsicforthe guru.Sometimespeoplegetdeceivedbythis.
TheythinkSwamiji lovesme somuchand doesso muchfor me.But no.Love isthe guru’snature.
Because of this,people gainanegoaboutthis.If youweren’tthere,itwouldbe forsomeone else). They
think,“I’mveryspecial”asan outcome of this. But it’snothinglike that.The waterfall doesn’tdo
anythingespeciallyforyouwhenyoucome underit.Itsnature isto pour waterfor anythingunderneath
it.For some time,youwere underneaththe showersoyougot the shower.Secondly,wheneveryouget
the guru’spresence,treasure it. The value of whatyougot isgaugedwiththe value of the good deeds
youhave performed.(I.e.yougetthe gurupresence inproportiontothe goodyouhave done).There
will come a daywhenthisledgerof gooddeedsyou’ve performedwillbe overandtherefore the guru
presence will be overtoo.That’swhyatthe time of gainingthe presence of the guru,yourfocusneeds
to be on the soul and not mattersrelatedtothe body.That’swhat promptsepiphanies.Use the
presence togo inwards.
Some foolishpeople askwhatdidImeanby inwards?If younotice yourflaws,youare goinginwards.Do
yousee these?If younotice these inthe presence of the guru,you’re goinginwards.Iwill tellyouthe
followingstory.Once whenIwaswalkinginthe village inthe evening,aguynamedRamu Bhil was
passingby.I thoughtmaybe we couldchat and walktogether.SoIholleredforhimandhe keptrunning
the otherway no matterhowmuch closerI keptgoingtowardshim.Ithoughthe isdefinitelyRamuBhil
so whyishe runningawayfromme?Maybe he doesn’tfeel like speakingtome.
The nextmorning,Isaid toRamu Bhil,“I washolleringforyoulastnight.Whydidyou keeprunning
away fromme?”He thensheepishlyreplied,“Ihadsome drinkslastnightsoI didn’twantto go nearyou
then.” I.e. eventhoughRamuwasdrunk,he wasstill inwards. He knew eveninthatstate that thiswas
not the time forhimto go in frontof me.Inspite of beingintoxicated,he hadthatinnerawareness.Soif
he couldhave the presence of mindwhilebeingintoxicated,canyounothave the presence of mind
while beingsober?
As yougraduallygoinwardsandthensee yourflawsonlythenwouldtheybe erasedorwouldyoutry to
overcome them.Like if youdon’tknowwhatkindof illnesssomeonehas,how canyou treatit? The
same goesfor flaws.Youcan’t remove themif youdon’tknow aboutthem.Soyou needtosee them
first.Inthe waythat I foundmyguru throughguru karya,my access to the guru presence continues.
Eventoday,I don’tfeel thatmy gurusare notnear me. It’slike they’re tothe rightand leftof me.So
guru karya isnot distinguishable fromthe guru.(They’reone andthe same).Assume whilethe guru
karya isgoingon that the guru isnear you.Whetherwe are near the guru or have establisheda
connectionwithhim,one neednotaskaboutit.You can feel itthroughvibrations.
Our path isnot of asceticism.Ourpathis withourfamily.Runningtothe jungle iseasy.Beingwithone’s
familyisa verygoodopportunitytopractice stickingwithyoursoul.Igot up at 3:30 a.m. and thenwoke
Guruma at 10 minutesbefore 5a.m.She said,“You shouldhave wokenme at5. Why now?”ThenI woke
up the kidsand theyhada bath.The kidsgave a lowdownof whatwentonthe day before.Theytoldme
a story aboutsome machine error.Inspite of all this,between3:30to 4:30 a.m.,I was on myown.So
scope out a space for yourself where nobodyelseisthere.
Don’tkeepexpectations.Youmayfeel likebecominganasceticbutthat doesn’tmeanthere will be no
problems.It’sjustthatthe formof the problemchanges. Beinganasceticinthe Himalayasor the jungles
isa separate matter. If you’re an asceticinsociety,the effectof societywill be there.Inthe Himalayas,
there are no problemsbecause there are nothoughts.Mysisterusedto sayto me ‘Don’tyoufeel afraid
goingthroughthe thicketsof the jungle ortreadingthe Himalayasonyour own?’Iwouldsay‘Forget
aboutfear.There are no thoughtsthere.Sothenif there’snothoughtthenthere’snofearinwandering
the junglesorthe Himalayas.’
While beinginsociety,problemsexistforascetics. Buttheydon’ttell peopleabouttheirproblems.
There are 80-85 year oldJainmonkswhowhenmeetingme alone talkabouttheirissueswithcontrolling
theirlust.Iwouldtell themtomeditate.Recently,Igota letterfroma Jainsaint.He wrote me withan
intensityaboutthisveryissue andhe triedtomeditate butcouldn’t. How couldmeditationhelpthis?
Thiswas an oldproblemandthiswasat an oldage.Thispersonreallydidwantto come out of this
problem.Iwrote himingreat detail andexclaimedmysurprise forthis.Imentionedthe following.You
walka lot.Whateverenergyyougain,youexpendinwalkingsoyoudon’tgetlust.You alsoeat less.So
the awakeningof lustdoesn’thappenthen.You’re voidof it. Butif you staysomewhere for3to 4 days
and are overeatingandnotexpendingthe energy,thatiswhenlustarises.Insuchsituations,it’slike the
alcoholicwhodoesn’tdrinkwheninthe desert.
(It’snotthat the personhasgivenupdrinkingbutrathertheycan’t getholdof a drink).Sotoois itwith
lustwhichstill lieswithinyou.It’slikethe control overthe lustisthere butit’snot thatthe lustisabsent
fromyou.You’re also alwayssofocusedonthisarea and thereinyoukeepfertilizingthe ideathatthere
shouldnotbe lust.It’slike oldpeople goingtothe bathroomevery2hours because the musclesare not
controlled.Asthe monksapproachthe age of 50 onwards,theystartto lose control overbodily
functionsandmostof the people confessingthistome were olderpeople.Until yourbodyisstrong,you
can control such functions,butasthe bodyweakenssotoodoesyourcontrol.
So I wrote one monkinSurat whowas over50 yearsold aboutthis.So don’tthinktheydon’thave
problemsbecause theyare insociety. Renunciationof the worldshouldnothappenfromthe bodybut
fromthe soul.Renunciationiswhenthe soul rulesthe body.Evenif you’re notbearingemblemsof
renunciation,itmattersnot.Sonothingneedstobe leftbehind.SoIdecidedtowrite onthismore
elaborately aspeople were writingintome about this.UponspeakingwithGuruma,she recommended
I write aboutthisinMadhuchaitanya. So thiswrite upwill come inabout2-4 monthssoread itthen.Just
meditate withoutexpectations.
Thenwe can getsoul freedomwhichisdetachmentfromeverything.Whatisdistinctive about
Samarpanmeditationishownewmodificationskeepgettingmade likeacar model.The new model is
the ideaof attainingself-realizationfromthe guruenergyinculcation.Historically,one doesnothear
aboutan awakeninghappeningthroughphotos.Whilehere we evenhada videoconference with
followersinAmericawhere over45 questionswere asked.Contrastthiswiththe Peruvideoconference
where noquestionswere asked.Ihave notbeenthere inthe 7 yearssince the centre was runningthere.
Theyare so dedicatedandsurrenderedtothe powersthatbe that theysaid,“We’ve metyouforthe
firsttime andwe don’twant to be foolishbywastingyourtime andenergy.We therefore have no
questions.”
We’re leaguesaheadof manyinthissphere inthe world.Ispeakto be able to affectyou.Noguru has
infusedhisenergiesintohisownstatue till date.30years aftera guru leaveshisbodybehind,anaura
developsaround itbecause the subtlebodygetsactivated. Now abiggerexperimenthastakenplace in
the RajasthanAshram. For the firsttime,a live guruhas activatedhisproposedsite of bodyenshrining
and thencome out of it as an outcome of a 36 houranushthan.(Anushthanreferstoa spiritual
ceremonywithafixedaim.InSwamiji’scase inthisexample,he goesintoanextremelydeepandhigh
state in isolation). Iwentinfor1,2,3,4,5,6,7 or 8 hours on a givenday.Andthoughone may sayit was8
hours,it reallybecomes9or 10 by the time yougetout of that highstate.
To joinyourproposedentombedshrinewithyoursubtle bodyandthencome backintothe physical
bodyis an innovationof the guruenergies.Itisthe creationof the Vishwachakraanushthan(Inthis
case,it’sthe creationof a subtle global spindle laidflatif we take the termsliterallybutjustimagine the
spindle suspendedinmidairlyingflatona subtle level). Energyfromthere will be channeled
throughoutthe world.See howfastdevelopmenteverywhere willhappenif youdon’tunderstandwhat
I meanby activation.
You have a familyof 5. I have one of hundredsof thousandsof people.Spendadaywithme and you’ll
see whatI face.Inspite of me gettingrequestsformattersonmymobile orgettingyankedatthrough
people’schitorattentiononme,myspiritual progressisstill happening.The scope of the gurukarya
and the developmentof the aura photographshave all increasedinthe 22 yearsI’ve beenwithyou.It’s
not that I come fromthe jungle tohere.
But my aura isprogressinginspiteof all this.Sowhynotyou? You’re notjoinedwithme.Whattookme
60 yearsshouldtake you6 minutes.Sitatan aura machine for10 minutesandsee the difference of
before andafteryouspendthe time withyourthoughtof me fora few minutes.Sojustimagine thatif
youcan witnesssomuchchange inyour aura for a few minutes,whatwouldhappenisthiswere afull -
time permanentthing? Performexpectationlesstasks.

sockson the streetsand nowI owna sock factory.”To thatI say that’snot progress.If you’re inthe
midstof 3 strong horses,the 4th
lame horse can alsorun far.Progressiswheninthe blinkof aneye,
meditationcanhappentoyou.Economicprogressor any otherexternal kindof progressiseasy. It’s
progressinginwardlythattakestime if youare to do so.
It isthe deceptivefacetaboutcollectivitybecause youcouldhave pushedaroundaggressivelybythe
collective energiesmuchlikehowpeoplegetbangedaroundinthe Mumbai trains.See how faryou go
on yourown.Be independent.Don’tassume happinesslieswithanother.This(elementof spirituality)
will staywithyouforever.
On 30 December,the GahanDhyanAnushthan(Where Swamiji goesintoisolationfor45 days and
comesout onthe Shivratri festival) will beginandendonFeb13. This particulartent(Where he was
then) wasmade for thisoccasion.I will come outfrommyspace throughthe bathroomto here.Try not
to keepexpectationsfor45 days.Notevenexpectationsof happiness.Yourwhole worldwillchange.
Whenyoudo somethingwithanexpectation,yougetresultsaccordingtowhatyouexpected.Whereas
whenyoudon’t,God giveslimitlessly.Tryitforyourself.Noexpectationsfromyourkidsorpartners.For
30 minutes,sitwithoutexpectations.(Actasthoughone were ina good state withnoexternal dealings).
There isa difference betweenasaintinvitingyouandyouinvitingthem.Earlier,therewasacallingfrom
Sai Baba (ascendedsaint) todo a workshopseriesfromSept18,2018 inShirdi.The Shirdi trust(the
organizationwhichhandlesSai Baba’sentombedshrine)askedme if Iwantedanytokensor
contributionsfromthem.Idon’ttake thingsanywaysbutfromSai Baba’s place,whatcouldI possibly
ask for?
As itturnedout,there was a followerwhohadearlierrequestedwe dothe workshopinthe summer
holidaysratherthaninSeptember.ButIsaidit wasalreadymeantforSeptembersoitcouldn’tbe
changed.But so soulful wasthisperson’sprayerthatI gota call fromthe Trust sayingthatour number
of followersare toohighandthe hall capacityislow.Therefore theyrecommendedwe dothe workshop
seriesoutdoorsinthe openduringthe summerholidays.Sothe programserieswill now eitherinthe
time periodof April 22 or May 23 whichare both full moondays.
I have askedforashram closure duringthistime.SometimesandartistmakesGodthroughthem.Itfeels
like Sai Baba isdoingthe same by operatingthroughme.Thisserieshasneverhappenedbefore and
won’tagain. WhenI go abroad, I come across those whogo foranushthanfor barelyaday and describe
such beautiful experiences.They’ll saythishappenedorthathappened.
Andhere we have followersworkinginthe ashramforthe entire 45 days and theydon’tgetany inner
divine experiences.Ifeel jealousof these followersfromabroadbecause ourvolunteersinthe ashram
are so focusedonarrangements.It’slikethe peopleonwhose backseverythinghingesare the onesnot
beingable toreapthe benefitof theirlabor.Sothistime,Isayto themgo to thisworkshopseries
because youwon’thave anyresponsibilitiesthen.
You’re not responsible foranything.Ialsodon’tneedtodo anything.Make the bestof thisopportunity.
The entombedshrine of Sai Babais nowhostingcentenarycelebrationswithdifferentshowsbeingheld
throughoutthe yearand thisshowwill be the biggestone of them. Iam now therefore postponingthe
Nepal tourfor Septor Octoberwhereasitwasearliergoingtobe duringthe summerholidays.Some
Nepal mediahouse representativesandjournalistsare here today.Samarpanmeditationcame from
Nepal andnowit will be goingbackthere.
Earlieron inour program,we recognizedUjjwala.Thisrecognitionwasnotbasedona particular
individual’scontributionbutratheronthe tasks or guru karya performed.Itispossible thatthere may
have beentimeswere Ujjwalahadtobe toughwithpeople butitwasnot because of any personal
feelingsshe had forthat individual.Itwasbecause she wastryingtospeakinfavor of the interestof the
trust.Though she isnot workingasmy adminassistant,she isstill veryactive.For17 years,I have been
fitand no workshophaseverbeencancelled due toanyillnessesof mine.Andthat’sbecause she keeps
makingsure I geta checkup every6 months.Herargumentwas youneedtoget the checkup done.
Otherwise,youwill notbe aware of beingunhealthy. (SomeonelikeSwamiji isevenmore likelythan the
average persontonot realize he hassomethinggoingonbecause he is100% at the soul level sohe may
not realize bodilyissues). Soshe hascreateda team of doctors whodo all mycheckups.
Recently,whenIwastravellingfromJaipurtoAjmeronmy wayto Navsari,I wasgivena lunchbox with
puri or kachori andsabzi (friedstuffedflatbreadsandpreparedvegetables).Ifinishedthe whole box to
the pointthat I evendevouredthe chutneyandspicedpickle.(i.e.Swamijidevouredthe condimentsin
the equivalencyof relishandketchup). Now here there were youngsterswhoweren’teveneating

On the basisof myexperience,todayIcan sayI didwhat I didwithoutexpectation.Expectationsare linked withthe body.The momentyouholdan expectation,recognizethatyouare lingeringatthe bodylevel or beingruledbythe body(bodyrepresentsthe materialorphysical plane ortendenciesof the ego). I didso withoutexpectation.Forgetaboutmoneytosustainthings.If Ispent2 hours teaching someone todomeditation,Ididn’texpectthemtoregularlymeditate.Itwasmyjobto tell them howto meditate irrespectiveof whethertheyfollowedupwithitornot. Whenwe work withoutexpectationsinthisfashion,automatically,the scope forthe outcome comesto be.Andthat workperformance isgenerallythe best.Sostartfirstwithyourself.Sitinmyname for30 minuteswithacalm focusirrespectiveof whethermeditationhappensornot.That’snot inyour scope of control butsittingdownis.If you sat downwiththe hope thatyou will fall intomeditation,itmeans youhave an expectation.Sitfor30 minutesinthe name of that holyand pure soul withwhomhundreds of thousandsof holyand pure soulsare entwined.Butjustremembertositwithoutexpectation.Asyou sitwithoutexpectation,youwillfeel acalminthat ideainand of itself. You’ll thenheara brahmanaad( a hummingor buzzingorconch inear/seashore like sound) from within.The nullitywillprevail.(i.e.youwill becomeemptyandfree andlightwithoutbodilysensations and will be filledwithvibrationsorcosmicenergy). However,evenif yourspouse comesintoyour proximity,thissoundwill cease.Why?Because theyare adifferentsoul.Soif everypersoninthe world createdsuch a space (whichfacilitatesone fillingwithcosmicenergyorvibrations),maybeone day, worldpeace can happen. The instillingof the traitof thismeditationisaunique attemptatworldpeace.Idon’tspeakof world peace.We can start withourworld.By worldpeace,Imeanour surroundingaura.Justimagine the idea of bringingpeace tothe whole world.It’snotpossible.Moreover,whathave we todo withthe whole world?Peace shouldbe rightbyus. Thenno matterwhere in the worldyougo, your“little”worldwill remainwithyou.Secondly,upon wearingthe clothesof anascetic,you mayrun away fromsocietytothe jungle.Butthat isnot our objective.Thisisnotsobecause we are to be withour familiesorthe materialisticworld.Butwe are to be like the lotus. (BythisSwamiji symbolizeshow the lotusblossomseventhoughithasmudisbeneath it.It nevergetssuckedinby the mud). Andwe are to make the pathfor holyand pure gurusto come. It’sbecause asceticscan’tdo thisthat we have beensent.Sofocuson thismission. Thissamarpan meditationtraithasbeeninstilledintoapure soul viaa pure soul.Thismeditationformat isunlike anyof the othermeditationtechniquesbeingpractisedinsociety.The techniqueswhichare dominantlyoperatinginsocietyatlarge are of three types.Youmaycorrect me if I am wrongincase there’ssomethingIam notaware of.But thisishow I see it.
