This position requires 5-10 years of experience in a recognized

Salary Range
According to Glassdoor Inc. (2021), the annual salary of senior
payroll specialists ranges from $39,000 to $78,000 based on the
State. Therefore, I would recommend a minimum wage of $50
000 and a maximum salary of $80,000 for the job holder. In
addition, a candidate receiving a total compensation should
have more years of experience, a higher education level, in-
demand skills, proficiency in payroll system upgrades, and
interpersonal skills. The first step to determining an appropriate
salary for a new position is establishing a starting salary range
based on the company's compensation philosophy and budget.
Also, we will conduct market research to determine the State
and competitors' average salaries for a similar position and
create a salary range based on research. Overall, we will offer
competitive and realistic benefits that reflect the applicant's
expectations and company. Comment by Lynne Croteau:
Remember in the live classroom session that I mentioned you
should make sure to have this Senior payroll specialist come in
at a salary MORE than the current payroll specialist? You
probably want to start at least the same salary as the current
payroll specialist since that person is going to report to this
Senior payroll specialist.

Rubric
Five Communication Strategy Recommendations
Overview: Your active participation in the two small group
discussions is essential to your overall success this term.
Discussion questions are designed to help you
make meaningful connections between the course content and
the larger concepts and goals of the course. These discussions
offer you the opportunity to
express your own thoughts, ask questions for clarification, and
gain insight from your classmates’ responses and instructor’s
guidance.
Small Group Guidelines
There are two small group discussions in this course, occurring
in Modules Four and Seven. For the two small group
discussions, you will work in small assigned
groups to complete specific tasks. These group discussions
support the incremental completion of the final project in this
course, the creation of an analysis and
negotiation coaching recommendations for executive leadership
due in Module Ten.
To prepare for each small group discussion, read the assigned
readings and write down notes that might be helpful as you craft
your post. After each small group
discussion, you will evaluate your own participation as well as
the members of your small group by filling out a group member
evaluation form, which you will
submit to your instructor by Sunday at 11:59 p.m. of your local
time zone during the same week of the small group discussion.
As you work on this assignment, keep in mind the following
guidelines: remember to be respectful of others and open to
6. different opinions, analyze the work
and not the individuals, focus on the facts of the case study, and
search for students’ answers that may be interesting and
surprising.
Prompt: For this first assignment, you will be working within
your assigned small group to develop five recommendations that
you will propose to Sharon Slade,
the chief human resources officer (CHRO) of Netflix.
Directions for this assignment are provided in the module as
well as in this document. There are several
requirements and deadlines for this small group discussion, so
be sure to follow them carefully to earn the maximum credit for
this assignment.
Your recommendations should include the following critical
elements:
-win

Your group should post a list of potential recommendations by
11:59 p.m. by Thursday of the module week. Over the next few
days, review the
recommendations, offering suggestions, insights, and additional
points to consider. Then, work with members of your group to
