Industrial relations refers to the connections between parties involved in industrial activity, primarily employers and employees. It encompasses the relations between employers, employees, unions, the government, and other groups connected to an industrial unit. These relations include union relations between unions and management, employer-employee relations between management and workers, group relations among different worker groups, community relations between industry and society, and labor relations among workers themselves.

3. MEANING OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS
• Industrial Relation basically refers to the relations between two parties
connected with industrial activity, namely, Employer & Employees.
• Industrial Relation includes relations between various parties connected with
the working of an industrial unit i.e. employer, employee, customers, Trade
unions, Government.
