Odisha became an independent state on April 1, 1936. We call it Utkal diwas. Originally it was divided into 13 districts. Later it was divided up into 30 districts. If your are visiting Odisha, dont miss out Jagannath Puri, and the Chilika lake. Manny more places for me to visit and explore in the future (after this pandemic). A map / geography would be more useful, but this is the first step.
