Career History
BRITISH ARMY
Driver communication specialist - 2011 - 2016
As part of the communication troop for the regiment that I was attached to, I was part of a team
responsible for installing, maintaining and using the field secure communications networks.
Routine daily tasks included; installation, commissioning, maintenance, fault diagnosis and
rectification of secure encrypted networks.
I am able to work as part of a team or as an individual showing initiative and resolve often in difficult
circumstances.
2. My final posting was on the army outreach team and for a year, I held the position as an acting junior
non commissioned officer with the rank of Lance Corporal.
Outreach is a branch of the army that goes out into the community showcasing careers within the
armed forces. In addition we would run courses within schools teaching students teamwork, problems
solving skills, fitness and careers advice

Centre supervisor - 2009 - 2011
Initially employed as a fitter and after showing aptitude, I was promoted to the centre supervisor after
6 months in post.
I ran a six man team supporting the centre manager.
I was accountable for stock, sales, staffing and general running of the garage in the managers
absence.
I always enjoyed working closley with the general public.
TYRER ELECTRICAL CONTACTORS
Electrician - 2007 - 2009
To undertake electrical jobs at both construction sites and existing customer houses.
I was responsible for organising my own timetable and seeing to customers electrical needs on a one
to one basis.
SELF EMPLOYED

I ran my own small business selling,advising and installing all domestic electrical needs from fault
finding and rectifying to full domestic rewires.
