 NiteSafe™ relates generally to a method and apparatus for a light fixture built into a
walking cane handle.
 Specifically, NiteSafe™ is designed in such a manner as to provide an adjustable

11. Neuropathy Market
 Peripheral Neuropathy (PN) is a disorder of the peripheral nervous system
– The nerves connecting the spinal cord to muscles, skin and internal organs are
damaged
– Usually affects the feet and hands, causing weakness, numbness, tingling and
pain.

Building on developments in diabetes testing equipment a Holistic Body Scanner is able to quantify
several conditions without contact. Using specific sections of the electromagnetic spectrum focused on
target areas, one is able to capture and analyze specifically sought data.
For example: Body temperature, Heart rate, Blood pressure, Blood sugar levels and other specific
assays for which protocols must be developed.
The benefits to such a device include but are not limited to: sterility, diagnostic speed, automatic data
upload, one-touch assays. Applications in an ER and with EMTs highlight the significant benefit of this
product.

18. VTG’s TorqueShaft™
 TorqueShaft™ integrates an electric motor and a drive shaft. The resultant
product is best illustrated in an electric car application wherein the
TorqueShaft™ is a power axle providing electrically generated torque to a
driven wheel. This application saves weight and space in the illustrated
application.
 Further applications include any electrically driven drive shaft, propeller or
power transmitting component in an industrial, commercial, residential or
recreational device.
 The TorqueShaft™ is flexible in that the rotor and stators can be reversed to
accommodate application specific requirements. Power – Torque
specifications exceed conventional motors requiring an electric to
mechanical connection.

19. VTG’s Intuitive Flow Meters (IFM)
 The market abounds in “Smart Meters” for measuring consumption of water and gas supplies to homes and industrial
sites. The current offerings stop far short of capturing all the data-value the market represents.
 For industrial, commercial and residential applications a next generation Intuitive Meter is ready for proof-of-concept
demonstration. Using MEMS-based or 3D printed approaches the Intuitive Meter is able to capture AND control the flow
of the various media under consideration: Fluids and Gases. Viscosity range limits are untested at this point.
 The MEMS-based or 3D printed sensors utilized in these applications (numerous fluid types and numerous gas types)
have similar basic construction but vary by media type. The sensors capture the flow of the various media at the
molecular level, regardless of the size or geometry of the fluid vessels. The device is scalable to read 1 dram/fortnight
to a value untested to date.
 Once captured, these data are analyzed, on-chip or via transmission to a host site. The quality and quantity of the media
are known real-time for quality or volume adjustments. Think as well, of the strategic placement of Intuitive Meters in
the delivery system pipelines to control the media flow in the event of a discontinuity in the delivery system from natural
or accidental incidents.
 Further application is at the point-of-use in commercial and residential buildings to both monitor and control usage per
point-of-use. Detailed consumption reports indicate point-of-use data. Whole building applications enable both
management and safety of said media.
 The next logical application is for all appliances and energy consuming devices to be factory-fitted or retro-fitted with
Intuitive Meters.

 With the ability to monitor the quality of the various media in a transport vessel or
in a building, one is able determine: contaminates in fluids and gases and
separately; monitor the flux value of an electrical flow.
 Using real-time data uploaded from VTG control stations, manual or automated
systems are alerted to circumstances requiring intervention to stop or reduce
contaminates reaching point-of-use positions in the case of fluids and gases.
 In terms of electrical flow, in-line sensors measuring flux variations are able to
determine if circumstances exist to cause or alert of a service interruption or
brown-out.
