EXECUTIVE PROFILE
o Successfully brought new products & technologies to the marketplace, and spearheaded new designs; this
included establishing a major potential customer & market base, many starting from virtually no brand
recognition.
o During the above period, was also responsible for researching several non-traditional markets for the
companies to penetrate – many of which produced significant growth revenue & opportunities.

and RFID hardware & software.
o Developed candidate choices for future mergers and acquisitions, as well as the strategic analysis; this was
performed directly for company senior management – in order to increase product breadth and synergistic
sales.
o Has over 25 years of product marketing experience, with most of that time in vertical market expansion.

Product Marketing Manager position for industrial components, such as relays, sockets, timers, circuit
breakers, terminal blocks, contactors, circuit breakers, solid-state relays, DIN rails, and industrial LED lamps – rated up
to IP69K. I used the IDEC advanced automation products, such as PLCs and HMI, to pull-thru the industrial
components. Was responsible for target marketing in existing and new focus industries - where concentrated efforts
were not currently being applied (The product range is under the NAICs code on Electrical Switch Gear.)
While at IDEC, I released ten new products introductions, while developing plans for penetrating several new markets.
I also headed new market penetration of the oil & gas industry with hazardous location products. Also began targeting
the wastewater and penetrating deeper within the commercial HVAC and people moving industries. Sales were up for
my product lines, the first three years of marketing.
While at IDEC, worked with the marketing communications group in developing new promotions, literature,
videos, web pages, distributor incentives, and product releases.

2. Product Manager position, on a contract basis. Responsible for target marketing in new industries, where
concentrated efforts were not currently being spent. The company builds high-end acoustic microscopes, where the
primary end-market is the semiconductor packaging industry and wafer level processing. The above consisted of both
hardware and software inspection tools.
As part of my assignment, I developed plans for penetrating four new markets.
Feb, 2010 to May, 2010 Hadassah House, Resale Store, 1710 First Street, Highland Park, IL
Co-managed a small resale store, on a contract basis. The store had no staff, no organization, no rules of
any kind, and no structure. I was brought-in to turn-around the store. After 3.5 months, I had hired staff, rules were in-
place, organized merchandize flow, and sales were up.

From 2001 to 08, took advanced electronic component technologies to new markets and end-customers -
which included the MEMS sensor business, LED value-added products, fiber optic products, touch-
sensing ICs & software, RFID w/software, and ultrawide-band antennas.
Was in a segment of the company where releasing new technologies and products were the norm, not the
exception.
Spearheaded the company’s entry in respiratory products, for medical applications; this also spread to the
design-in of touch-sensing ICs & software/firmware.
From 2004 to 2006 was also working with the COO on possible mergers and acquisitions planning - involving initial
research and acquisition candidate analysis. During time as product manager, for New Technologies:
• Two new flow sensors were designed for the North American market – as a result of my market development
& analysis, strategies, competitive analysis, and major accounts.
• Touch-sensing IC brand, and software, was released to the North American market, for the major appliance,
commercial appliance, and medical appliance makers.
• Released ten new technologies over an eight year period, and developed an additional three.
• Handled about fifteen new products & technologies, during the above eights year period.
• Was able to increase company revenue, with the addition of three new market segments: medical, gaming,
and commercial appliances. A fourth, heavy-duty vehicles, was also under development.
• Published articles on touch-sensing ICs & software and MEMS sensors – which generated customer interest.

In past positions (Product Marketing Manager, 1990 to 2003) had three product specialists, two engineers, and one
secretary reporting to me.
o Was responsible for setting up department expense budget, P&L responsibility, as well as overseeing that
training to the sales force was carried out; this also included semi-annual reviews.
o The position involved visiting the corporate offices, in Japan; this also included traveling to China, Malaysia
and Indonesia - to review business and yearly factory/vendor quantities.
Have proven success and experience in finding and working closely in corporate accounts, such as Electrolux,
Siemens, Chamberlain, Agilent Tech., Rockwell Automation, Carrier, Kohler, Whirlpool, GE (Appliance, Industrial,
Medical, and Appliance), Honeywell, Diebold, Respironics, Delphi, Johnson Controls, White-Rogers, Cisco, 3Com and
