1. How does a Septic System work?
Basic of a septic system
A septic system is a self-contained treatment and disposal system that is used
in rural areas where municipal sewer systems are not available. This system
filters and treats the waste water produced by the residents (households)
before it is discharged into a drainage field or absorbed into the soil.
2. Aerobic septic parts
A septic system is a vital component of a home that is often overlooked by
many homeowners. A septic system is vital to your homes health and well-
being. A septic system is designed to treat and process the wastewater from
your home. The wastewater is piped from your home to the septic tank, where
a series of processes occur to break down the water and solid waste. The
water and solid waste are then piped to the leach field where the water is
drained through perforated pipes and into the ground, leaving the solid waste
to decompose. The solid waste continues to decompose through the
absorption of moisture and nutrients into the surrounding soil over time.
3. Waste water septic parts
A septic system is a sewage treatment facility that is used in rural areas. It is
not connected to a municipality sewer network. Septic systems consist of a
septic tank, a distribution box and a set of drainpipes. The septic tank is used
for the temporary storage of sewage. When the system is in good condition,
the liquid in the tank can be separated from the solids. However, if solids
accumulate in the tank and clog the system, the entire tank will have to be
replaced. The distribution box is used to distribute the liquid from the septic
tank to the drainpipes. If the box is not in good condition, the liquid will
continue to go back to the tank.
