Personal Training Success Story 
Jay Rohrer 
I started working with Stephen to prepare for a European tour described as being “physically active” and I 
wanted to be in shape to enjoy it. Like many people, I have previously belonged to various gyms but never 
really stuck with it. I wanted this time to be different and decided a personal trainer was the way to do it. I 
travel a lot for work so I was only able to work with Stephen 6 or 7 times a month but in three months leading 
up to my trip I lost 15 pounds and noticeably increased my overall fitness level. Europe was a piece of cake 
and I decided I wanted to continue to build on what I’d accomplished and make training a part of my life. I 
have been back for 2 months now and I am working on losing a little more weight and increasing my 
strength and endurance so I can get out and start hiking 14ers. Stephen is great to work with because he is 
passionate about changing people’s lives and for me working with a trainer takes out some of the drudgery 
and keeps things interesting so I can stay motivated and get the most I can out of my time at the gym.
