6. 1. Center for International Private
Enterprise
CIPE is a non-profit, private sector organization that provides
financial support in the form of grants to non-government business
organizations such as chambers of commerce, employers'
federations, trade associations, and private enterprise-oriented
research groups throughout the world.
7. AIM: CIPE's overall purpose is to encourage the growth of private
enterprise principles and organizations that contribute to
democratic development. Democracy requires the development of
institutions based on individual freedom, incentive, initiative,
opportunity, responsibility and voluntary association.
First submit a brief concept paper (2-3 pages) explaining the

8. 2. Google Global Good Fellowship for
Entrepreneurs 2018
The Global Good Fund Fellowship is a 12-month program
supporting the leadership development of young social
entrepreneurs across the globe. The Global Good Fund
develops these innovators by pairing them with executives
who serve as Mentors, and by providing leadership
assessment resources, a network of peers, sector expertise,
and targeted financial capital.

Enterprise that the candidate leads is at least one-year old;
Enterprise must have at least one full-time employee in
addition to the candidate;

17. 5. FRIDAY| The Young Feminist Fund
This is the only youth-led fund focused exclusively on supporting
global young feminist activism to advanced social justice
movements and agendas.
20. Benefit
Grants will be awarded up to $5,000 USD. Grant money
is flexible, can be used for general support and/or
projects to be used over a period of 12 months, and are

21. 6. FIRE Africa Grant
The FIRE Africa Grants will provide two Grants of of $10,000 Google grant and
$12,500 grant each for two existing successful projects to scale up activities
and move to the next level of their cycle. This Grant is for scale up projects
that will be implemented within the next 12 months.
Projects from African-based public or private sector organizations, university,
or research and development institutions and non-government organizations

22. 7. Nieman Fellowships Program
These Fellowships at Harvard offer short-term research opportunities to
individuals interested in working on special projects designed to advance
journalism in some new way.
23. Candidates need not be practicing journalists,
but must demonstrate the ways in which their
work at Harvard and the Nieman Foundation may
improve the prospects for journalism’s future. This
may be related to research, programming, design,
financial strategies or another topic. In addition to
working journalists, those who should consider
applying include: publishers, programmers,
designers, media analysts, academics and others
interested in enhancing quality, building new
business models or designing programs to improve
journalism.
24. Successful applicants are invited to the Nieman Foundation
for a period ranging from a few weeks to three months,
depending on the scope of the project.
Knight Visiting Nieman Fellows have access to the extensive
resources at Harvard and throughout Cambridge, including
local scholars, research centers and libraries.
Successful applicants also have the opportunity to work with
Nieman Fellows and the various projects housed at the

26. 8. Camargo Core Program: Offering Time
and Space in a Contemplative
Environment
Camargo Core Program that offers time and space in a
contemplative environment to think, create, and connect. By
encouraging groundbreaking research and experimentation,
it supports the visionary work of artists, scholars and
thinkers in the Arts and Humanities. By encouraging
multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches, it
intends to foster connections between research and creation.
27. Scholars: applicants should be connected to the Arts and
Humanities working on French and Francophone cultures,
including but not limited to cross-cultural studies that engage the
cultures and influences of the Mediterranean region.
To be eligible for a fellowship in the “Scholars” category, applicants
are expected either to hold a PhD and a record of post-doctoral
scholarship, or to be PhD candidates completing the final stages of
research for, or writing of, their dissertation.

28. Thinkers: this category includes accomplished professionals and practitioners
in cultural and creative fields (such as curators, journalists, critics, urban
planners, independent scholars, etc.) who are professionally engaged in critical
thought. Camarago Foundation are interested in work attuned to the
theoretical “arena”, the arts, and society.
They should be working on French and Francophone cultures, including but
not limited to cross-cultural studies that engage the cultures and influences of
the Mediterranean region.

29. Artists (all disciplines): applicants should be the primary
creators of a new work/project and have achieved a track
record of publications/performances/exhibitions, credits,
awards and/or grants. Camarago Foundation are interested
in artists who have a fully developed, mature artistic voice.
Applicants may include those who have been commissioned
for multiple projects.
30. A stipend of 250 USD per week is available, as is funding for basic
transportation to and from Cassis for the Fellow for the residency.
In the case of air travel, basic coach class booked far in advance is

31. 9. Tree Fund’s John Z. Duling Grant
Program
John Z. Duling Grants may be used to support exploratory work in
the early stages of untested, but potentially transformative,
research ideas and approaches.
The John Z. Duling Grant Program was established and funded by
a bequest from the estate of John Z. Duling of Indiana, a strong
advocate of research who in 1972 proposed the establishment of
the ISA Research Trust.
32. Research Priorities
Root and soil management: Many urban tree problems originate
below ground. Promoting root development, protecting roots from
injury, managing conflicts with infrastructure, improving existing
soil, and/or use of other media for root growth are issues that
arborists encounter regularly.
Tree planting and establishment: Methods of ensuring survival
and vigorous growth of trees after planting are of concern to
arborists and the entire green industry.

35. 10. Niwano Peace Foundation’s Grant
Program
The Foundation makes grants in order to provide
active encouragement for activities undertaken in a religious spirit
and conducted in such a way as to invite broad social participation.
The Niwano Peace Foundation was chartered in 1978 to contribute to
the realization of world peace and the enhancement of culture by
promoting research and other activities, based on religious spirit and
serving the cause of peace, in such fields as thought, culture, science,
and education.

38. 11. GCRF Networking Grants
The Networking Grants will bring together novel
combinations of perspectives to facilitate the development of
high quality, interdisciplinary and innovative applications
addressing the global challenges faced by developing
countries for submission to other GCRF programmes.

Have completed a PhD or have experience at an equivalent level

41. 12. Singapore International Foundation
The Singapore International Foundation is seeking
applications for its Artists for a Better World
programme in order to grow the Arts for Good
ecosystem, which harnesses the power of arts and
culture to create positive social change.

For successful applicants, SIF shall provide the Individual with
monetary compensation up to Singapore Dollars Three Hundred
(S$300) or fifty percent (50%) of travel-related expenses (only flight

The Youth Program engages and empowers youth leaders across
the region to take ownership of the health of coasts and oceans in
East Asia. Through Youth Program activities, young leaders can
build the skills and professional development to become effective
integrated coastal management (ICM) practitioners through action
projects, supported by the PEMSEA Network of Learning Centers
(PNLC).
45. Eligibility
Applicants must be 18-30 years old and a citizen of Brunei
Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Democratic People’s Republic
of Korea, Indonesia, Japan, Lao People’s Democratic
Republic, Malaysia, Philippines, Republic of Korea,
Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste or Viet Nam.
Projects must be linked to sustainable development of coastal
and ocean areas, preferably in collaboration with local
government and communities that are implementing
integrated coastal management (ICM) programs.
The youth project must be affiliated with an institutional
partner (e.g. PNLC or PNLG members, other universities, local
governments, local NGO’s or similar institutions).

International Grant Program
Jack Kimmel International Grant Program” which
provides much needed funding to arboriculture
and urban forestry researchers all over the world.
This grant is administered by TREE Fund, with

57. 17. Voice’s Global Influencing Grants
Voice has announced a call for proposals for its “Global
Influencing Grants: Our Turn to Talk” to help Voice meet its
objectives and incorporates feedback received from a
consultation with key stakeholders.

62. 18. Project Preparation Grants (PPGs)
The Standards and Trade Development Facility (STDF) is
currently inviting applicants for its Project Preparation
Grants (PPGs) that will provide support to developing
countries through grants to prepare technically sound and
sustainable projects.
The main criterion in awarding a PPG for the preparation of a
project proposal is the likelihood that its implementation will
result in a well-drafted proposal with the potential to achieve
sustainable and effective results.

65. 19. PlanetRomeo Foundation’s Grants
PlanetRomeo Foundation is seeking proposals for its grant program
to support grassroots emerging LGBTI projects and initiatives, with
the focus on achieving societal change in order to improve the
position of LGBTI people throughout the world, with an emphasis
on the most disadvantaged regions and communities.
66. Eligibility Criteria
The Foundation gives high priority to small-scale projects
which are initiated and implemented by the LGBTI
community itself and/or by emerging LGBTI groups and
initiatives.
The Foundation funds two categories of emerging initiatives:

and program expenses, as well as small grants to
organize and participate in events. We believe that
investing in grassroots women’s rights is the single
most effective way to create change because it gets to
the root of the problem instead of just alleviating the
symptoms.

criteria to be eligible for a grant:
Be based in a country outside the United States. We do not fund
US-based organizations.
Have a primary focus on advancing women’s equality and human
rights, with these goals clearly reflected in its activities. Please note

Be a group of women working together. We do not accept requests

Competition

The Asia New Zealand Foundation is inviting journalists for its
program entitled “Travel and Discretionary Grants” with an aim to
offer New Zealand journalists the chance to travel to Asia to
research and prepare stories.
These grants support independent and self-managed travel to the
region by New Zealand journalists. The Asia New Zealand
Foundation does not make travel arrangements and cannot
