I workedwiththisdramacompany from the age of Seven,Ioftentookonseveral rolesata time as
well asperforming,asa Matron I had to supervise childrenandyoungadultsindressingroomsor
backstage. Asa costume hand I wouldhelpwithfittingcostumes,distributingandcollecting
costumesaftera productionandfixingminorproblems.AschoreographerassistantIwouldhelp

called‘Imagine BetterWorlds’thisModule meantthatIhad to go on placementforthe minimumof
three weeksandat the endof placementdoa performance thatreflectswhatyouhave learnt, or
my groupwe were on placement withagroupof adultamateur actor’sages varyingfrom 18 to 72
withinthisgroupi alsoworkedwithpeople whohadbothphysical andmental disabilities.The
people inthe groupwhere fromthe areaand some had workedpreviouslywitheachothertheyall
metup once a weekona Thursday.Aspart of myexam I and three others puttogethera workshop
whichwe had to runwiththe group,andwe hadto moulditto facilitate the groupandtheir
strengthsbutalsoon the actual daythere were notmany people there sowe hadto change our plan
to fitwhowas actuallythere.We createda workshopthatwouldhelpthemwiththeirprojecton
EleanorRathbone andgive themideasfortheirmonologuestheywere writingfortheirperformance
at the Liverpool museum.
