MITA Water Technologies had been a division of
MITA Cooling Technologies since 1971 and was
established as an independent company in 2001.
It has always been committed to the development
of new products and the continuous improvement
of existing ones. In its research and development
activities, it makes use of pilot facilities and
dedicated design software made specifically for
the purpose.
The primary objective is full customer

TREATMENTS
Lamella packs and packaged
systems are suited for both civil
and industrial water oil separation
pre-treatment.
They have been designed to
guarantee excellent performances
also with high loading rate. Packages
available in painted carbon or
stainless steel.
MITA Water Technologies chain
scrapers are made of plastic
materials and are suitable for
installation in primary settlement
or sand removal tanks.
Self-lubricating properties and
high-quality materials grant a
long operational life with limited
maintenance.
Dissolved air floatation (DAF)
systems are one of the most
effective solution for pre-treatment
of civil, industrial and process
water where a high level of oil, fat
and suspended solid removal is

Lamella packs can be supplied for in-

It is a viable and efficient solution
for activated-sludge aeration.
ENVICON diffusers are available in

The Biorulli®
biological oxidation

Biocombi system unifies
RBC biological treatment and
high-efficiency secondary
sedimentation through free-fiber
cloth filter, all packed in a single
tank. It is a compact solution which
combines high performances in
water treatment, simple operations
and cost-effective maintenance.
Packaged biocombi is available both
in carbon and inox steel structure.
MITA Water Technologies free-fiber
cloth filter is the state of the art
in advanced wastewater tertiary
treatment.
Very high performances (up to < 5 ppm
TSS), lowest energy consumption
thanks to the outside-in flow path,
simple operations and the lowest
life-cycle cost among all advanced
tertiary water treatment technologies.
Thanks to its exclusive backwash
system, MITA Filtrasand ensures
operational continuity and avoids
fresh water consumption for
cleaning purposes. At the same
time, it guarantees high efficiency
and reliability both in colloidal
and non-colloidal suspended solid
removal from any water type
