2. For our trailer….
• We got positive comments such as…
• Our settings were thought out very well, very
similar to the trailer.
• Good Acting
• Camera work was really good
• Editing was great
• General Horror Conventions were used
• Created suspense
3. The comments that gave us advice on
where we need to improve…
• Voice over, just two voices not three, deeper voice could be
improved
• Lighting of the extreme close up could be a bit darker, it was too
bright
• Faster-pace at the end, it lingered on
• More non diegetic sounds; screams ect
• Change the deeper voice towards the end of the voice over
• Some parts of the voice over was not clear enough so wasn’t able
to understand what they were saying
• Slow down with Sevcan’s news report
• Linger on Sevgi for longer some more heavy breathing
• Slow down shot of Amal as the father we need to hear what is
said before we see her.
4. Always need room for improvement…
• As we only had a week, we did not have enough time to
include every single detail, we went at a fast past for filming
and editing.
• We missed out a lot of sound effects, that was needed, we
didn’t have time to add them in or we couldn't find the right
one. For example I spent a long while looking for a woman
scream but they all sounded unrealistic and not good enough
for the trailer.
• Another major room for improvement is timing, we need to
go back and see the lengths of shots, and cut or extend them
to the correct time.
• Another major issues was the voice over, to improve we may
need to re-record the news report, but this time the voice
actress, will listen to the trailer at the same time so they know
what pace they should be speaking at, therefore it fits into the
length of the shot.
