An Airbus validation (DDC) activities mainly comes across in-between Designer and production
unit.
It mainly focuses on improving the product quality (accuracy) and minimizes the wastage material in
production unit and also minimizes the cost of product.
Definition Dossier Check (DDC) is activity of checking for consistency among the elements of
drawing set. Drawing set consists of 3D models, drawing sheets, Bill of Material, Engineering
Change Notice, And Technical Associated Documents.
Checking drawing set components as per the AIRBUS guidelines for validation for consistency
of 3D model, Drawings, Airbus PDM Link (ECN) and BOM before goes to production or assembly.
The project deals with mainly Work on CATIA V5 2D and 3D drawings on Machined parts,
Sheet metal, and Tubing design drawing sets and these drawing sets were checkedagainst
particular check list which are generatedby TOTEM.
Responsibilities:
 Accepting the files assigned by clients using Think Team PLM .
 Checking the drawing sets for consistency between the .CAT Parts and CAT Drawing.
 Checking the drawing sets for Consistency between ECN and modifications made on the
drawing sheet and BOM.
 Filling checklist (control set) prepared by clients.
 Preparing the technical report for the inconsistencies in the drawing set.
 Delivering files to customer through Think Team PLM.
