reading sheet music, playing
by ear, or from a tutorial.

to play a song from an anime I watch.

want to play has been
recorded as a tutorial by
someone on YouTube or
other video sites. This is the
easiest way for people
without formal music
education to learn a song.

but I mostly learn by

amassed over the
years. I don’t remember
how to play everything I
learned, though.

grade seven, and
have always been
singing since I was
little.

 5 things I would share with a new student:
 Work on your project gradually! Don’t procrastinate until the
last few days, because you won’t be proud of your work. And
the assignments take longer than you might expect.
 Make sure to add a little bit of humour to your projects, so it’s
more interesting.
 Use as many given options as you can, and give yourself time
to experiment with new programs.
 Ask someone to check your project over before handing it in to
find little mistakes and get feedback.
 ALWAYS SAVE YOUR WORK PERIODICALLY.

 What are your thoughts on using Web 2.0 tools?
 It was a little bit frustrating, as some programs that I was
hoping to use wouldn’t load for me(glogster) or were very slow
(the screen recorder I used kept glitching).
 I enjoyed the creative freedom in these assignments, I didn’t
have to use a specific medium or write a certain amount of
information.
 The open-endedness also made me stretch my brain to figure
out what I could show, what would be of some interest to
others who watch my projects.
 I could use all of these things in future projects, because just
writing paragraphs or pages of writing is a bit repetitive.
People would be more engaged with more variety in the
presentations.
