It is my privilege to provide this letter of recommendation for Sonal Patel
Ms. Patel volunteered as an administrative intern for Hospital Administration at Santa
Clara Valley Medical Center between June and September 2016. During this period Ms.
Patel demonstrated great consistency and dependability while working on several projects
including a very successful employee engagement initiative called CICARE Olympics
and conducting research around temporary lodging options for families of patients.
Ms. Patel did an excellent job assisting in the development and execution of the CICARE
Olympics program. The initiative included three weeks of events focused on
encouraging staff to embrace and utilize the organization's adopted customer experience
tool (CICARE) which promotes excellent customer service. Ms. Patel served as a
committee member and created a comprehensive presentation that she gave to almost 100
managers and senior leaders. She developed program documentation and orchestrated
and led many program events. The initiative involved over 20 department teams and
reached several thousand employees. It was praised by many as one of the most
successful staff engagement events in the organization's history. Ms. Patel also
conducted research, including personal interviews, and completed a thorough analysis of
lodging options for families of patients that will serve as the foundation for fuither
evaluation and future organizational decisions. In all assignments Ms. Patel
demonstrated independence and the ability to work with all level team members.
Ms. Patel is an extremely bright and hard-working individual who possesses great
dedication, drive and determination. She is thoughtful and intelligent and she thrives on
challenges. Ms. Patel is a self-motivated individual with a focus on achievement.
I highly recommend Sonal Patel for any program or position.
