• Young english learners requires acknowledge
the huge numbers of children now engaged in
learning english.
• Characteristics of Young learners

5.Energetic
TEACHING CHILDREN
• The important aspect to be consider when we working with younger
learners requires specific skills and intuitions we have five
categories to give practical approaches to teach them:
1. Intelectual development
2.Attention span
3.Sensory input
4.Affective factors
5.Authentic, meaningful
TYPES OF STUDENTS
• We have three types of students in
the classroom:
• 1. The lazy or poorly motivante
student
• 2. The troublemaker
• 3. The distracted student
HOW TO MOTIVATE LAZY
STUDENTS?
– Ane of them students in the classroom present as lazy not wanting to do work in
class or as bored.
– Pay attention students talk more to each other in the classroom by be giving
creative assignments and doing thing with classmates.
– Motivate students who present as unmotivated.
HOW TO DEAL WITH
DISRESPECTFUL STUDENTS?
1.Try and find out who we are gonna be together in
te classroom .
2. When students say that they are not interested,
they are bored, they do not like the class, we should
try to find a way for them to integrate with their
classmates in order to change their attitude.
3. For students to have a good response in the
classroom, we as teachers must deal with a correct
tone of voice.
HOW TO HANDLE A
DISTRACTED STUDENT?
1. Find a way for the student to find the class
topic interesting, by playing games or
dynamics with all the students in class.
2.An environment should be created in
which there are no objects that distract the
student.
3.Be aware of the student when he is
distracted and with this be able to help at
that moment and give options so that he can
comply in class
HOW START TEACHING AND
GET KIDS EXCITED ABOUT
LEARNING ENGLISH
1. As a teacher we can motivate students to
learn English, they can do diamonds, games.
2. Making the class fun and entertaining is
another strategy with students to motivate
them to study and learn English in a fun way

TEACHING CHILDREN • The important aspect to be consider when we working with younger learners requires specific skills and intuitions we have five categories to give practical approaches to teach them: 1. Intelectual development 2.Attention span 3.Sensory input 4.Affective factors 5.Authentic, meaningful
  • 4. TYPES OF STUDENTS • We have three types of students in the classroom: • 1. The lazy or poorly motivante student • 2. The troublemaker • 3. The distracted student
  • 5. HOW TO MOTIVATE LAZY STUDENTS? – Ane of them students in the classroom present as lazy not wanting to do work in class or as bored. – Pay attention students talk more to each other in the classroom by be giving creative assignments and doing thing with classmates. – Motivate students who present as unmotivated.
  • 6. HOW TO DEAL WITH DISRESPECTFUL STUDENTS? 1.Try and find out who we are gonna be together in te classroom . 2. When students say that they are not interested, they are bored, they do not like the class, we should try to find a way for them to integrate with their classmates in order to change their attitude. 3. For students to have a good response in the classroom, we as teachers must deal with a correct tone of voice.
  • 7. HOW TO HANDLE A DISTRACTED STUDENT? 1. Find a way for the student to find the class topic interesting, by playing games or dynamics with all the students in class. 2.An environment should be created in which there are no objects that distract the student. 3.Be aware of the student when he is distracted and with this be able to help at that moment and give options so that he can comply in class
  • 8. HOW START TEACHING AND GET KIDS EXCITED ABOUT LEARNING ENGLISH 1. As a teacher we can motivate students to learn English, they can do diamonds, games. 2. Making the class fun and entertaining is another strategy with students to motivate them to study and learn English in a fun way
