• Brett Steenbarger Phd is a legend in the trading
community and a recognized doyen in trading
psychology.
• His work is prolific, and you can keep up to date with all
his latest insights by following his brilliant online home.

5. • Troy Bombardia over at BullMarkets.co trades
based off of quantitative models.
• However this does not stop him from doing some
brilliant technical analysis and market research.
• What I love is his focus on logic, simplicity,
probability.

6. • Bloomberg Opinion is filled with interesting and
high-quality content.
• On of my favorite’s is Matt Levine who covers a
range of finance related topics.
• Although not directly relevant to my trading style,
his unique ability to simplify corporate finance
activity in the stock market always leaves me
feeling smarter.

7. • Ryan Mallory’s SharePlanner is in my opinion a
completely underestimated resource.
• I especially enjoy the Stoic approach to trading
psychology such as “Always assume you will lose”
& “tips for becoming mentally tough.”

8. • The Big Picture named Peter Brandt in the 30 most
influential persons in the world of finance, and he
has many, many years of trading experience.
• His public blog is a window into his mind and
offers a place to learn from the wisdom of his
experience.
• This is definitely worth checking out

9. • Even though I am not personally a futures day-
trader, I have found that the guys at Positive
Equity run a very unique and down to earth blog.
• They cover topics which are not commonly
discussed in trading circles.
• Some examples include:
• Balancing trading and family,
• going from amateur to professional,
• how many people who trade make money, and
over vs under-trading.

10. • The site Churning & Burning is really fantastic.
• It only came onto my radar recently through a
friend’s recommendation.
• This is a raw (and entertaining) insight into the
mind of a traders with no editing, bleeping or
beating around the bush.
• So what you get is the raw emotion and passion
which every trader can identify with.

11. • Most of the entries on this list employ technical
analysis in their research.
• It is refreshing to see someone doing a great job
with fundamental research as well.
• LXV put out very high quality work for free on their
website, leaving little doubt as to the value of their
paid membership.
