1. Little white lies cover pitch
Hello sir or madam
My designs are based on Sergeant Dap of the upcoming movie, Enders game. I choose Dap because he
shows a serious expression suiting the movieʼs mood and that he has a military like attire. An influence of
these designs are based on the illustrator, Owen Sherwood, loosely based on old game pixel art and the
Lawless little white lies issue. I will change the colours for the final design. With design number one, I choose
to put squares over the image to make it look like a game pixel fade and is the most similar to Owen
Sherwoodʼs illustrations, which works well with previous Little white lies issues, the squares are meant to show
the game like effect and that the fade shows that Dap is dying, to represent that humanity is also under threat
of extinction by the alien armada. The second design is more based on the Lawless little white lies issue with
the shadows on the face being “lined” in, but adding more colour to it. Both of the designs were done in
photoshop, using the brush tool, eraser tool, rectangle tool and lasso tool to reposition some part of the
drawing. For the final design I will use Illustrator for the outline using the brush tool, then bring it to Photoshop
to do the colour and shapes.
