4. 7 C’s OF COMMUNICATION
The 7 C’s of communication are 7 characteristics of the effective
communication. Effective communication is the quality of successful
people, both at home and at work.
When a speaker of writer conveys a message, it is important that the
receiver understand it.

8. DEFINITION:
The Process Of Communication Without The Use Of Words, The Communication
Take's Place Through Signals Such As: Facial Expression , Body Language,
Nodding Of Head , Gestures , Postures, Eye Contact Etc. Is Called Non Verbal
Communication .

10. KINESICS :
Kinesics or kinesic communication is all about
communication through body movements, such as
gestures and facial expressions. It is all about non-
verbal behavior using any part of the body. It also
includes communicating using the body as a whole.
PROXEMICS:
Proxemics is the amount of space people prefer
to have when engaging in conversation with
others.
CHRONEMICS:
It is a discipline concerned with the study of a person’s
use of time. It tells as how punctual and discipline a
person is and also how a person is serious to regarding
matter.
11. VOCALICS:
The volume, tone of voice or pitch used by
the sender to transmit information vocalics
is also called as paralanguage.
HAPTICS:
Haptics is the study of touching as
nonverbal communication. Touches that
can be defined as communication include
handshakes, holding hands, back slap,
"high-five", shoulder pat, brushing arm, etc.
SIGN LANGUAGE:
A sign language is a way of communicating by using the hands
and other parts of the body. It should not be confused with
body language. Sign languages are an important way for deaf
people to communicate. Deaf people often use them instead
of spoken languages.
12. CROSS CULTURAL COMMUNICATION
DEFINITION:
Cross-cultural communication is the process of recognizing both differences and
similarities among cultural groups in order to effectively engage within a given context.
EXAMPLE:
Language , Cultural norms (Shaking hands vs. bowing when you meet someone),
Geographic location.

The easiest way to overcome hurdles and avoid misunderstandings in cross-cultural communication
is to first get to know to basic elements of this type of communication.
