Help raise awareness of people living in poverty

BECA is one of

organizations
helping people

suffering in
poverty.

4. BECA is a non-profit organization that facilitates
technical school scholarships for Nicaraguan high
school grads who can't afford to continue their
education, but are serious about doing so.

5.  They started working in the city of Masaya in August 2008.
 How They Fulfil our Mission
We facilitate technical school scholarships to Nicaraguans
who complete a six-month screening process that we call
"Course One." Course One is composed of:
a. three months of computer training (keyboarding,
word processing and Internet), and,
b. three months of volunteering full-time in a
Nicaraguan primary school.

6.  Their goal: Facilitate scholarships for Nicaraguans who would like to keep
studying after high school, but don't have the money to do so.

7.  I learned English for nine months in BECA. After I graduate from the
course I applied to in a call centre many times, but after a couple of
days I received a phone call from a call centre saying I had a job
interview. I was nervous I have all the interviews, at the end they told
me ¨congratulation you get the job¨, I did not believe it I thought it was
a dream but not it was true. Now a day I am happy because I have a job
and I can support my family that is the most important for me. I have
been working for this company called Accedo Technologies for six
months.
