2. Teen pregnancy in the united states is a decrease we have not seen in 70 years. This might be because schools now teach students to wait for sex. Also that their is a lot of advertising on the T.V and radio focused on telling students not to have sex and what teenage pregnancy can do to your life. You stop taking time for your self because you have this baby you need to take care of. Parents of these teenagers know understand the problem and are now trying their hardest to stop there kids from having sex.
3. In schools across the United States teen pregnancy is prevented by programs that inform students of ways to prevent it. Students at these schools know that teenage pregnancy is bad but they still want to have sex. How do we keep students from having sex while still in school? The answer is that we cant its going to happen no matter what we say or do. These programs inform students about safe sex and some tell kids to just don’t have sex.
4. Schools encourage parents to talk to their kids about teenage pregnancy. Maybe if they hear it from someone they know they will tae it more serious. If your parent is one of those teenagers who had a kid that’s better for you cause then they can relate to the story and give you their perspective on how it effected their life . You now understand how your parents had to stop all their things going on just so they could take care of a kid.
5. Teenagers watch T.V and the people that run it know that. So they take this and use it to their advantage to raise awareness to teens. Commercials about teenage pregnancy are by my opinion cheesy but they get the point across and that’s the point that matters the most. Teens watch these commercials and learn that teenage pregnancy is a bad thing but it can be taken care of.
6. We know that teenage pregnancy is at a all time low but the objective is to stop it completely. A teenager is still a kid and a kid with a kid is just wrong. Can you imagine what it does to that teenager's life and also how it effect that family. Once you have a kid you cant go back and redo it you now are responsible for someone's life not just your own.
7. So teen pregnancy rates have defiantly gone down and yes that is a good thing. Where not here to here almost stop it though where here to completely stop it. It ruins the teenager’s life and think about how that child will grow up. It won’t grow up with all the resources it needs I can tell you that much. Chances are the child will grow up with a single parent because usually relationships break apart because of pregnancy while you’re still a teenager.
