Dear
Sir/Madam,
Referee
Report
for
Sherman
Han
I
have
known
Sherman
since
2013
in
the
capacity
of
an
Assistant
Chair
(Outreach).
Throughout
these
years,
he
has
displayed
strong
aptitude
towards
technology
and
his
technical
know-‐how
is
often
used
effectively
in
the
pursuit
of
his
undergraduate
studies
as
well
as
inspiring
the
young
to
join
the
engineering
profession.
1) Motivation:
Mr
Han’s
motivation
in
terms
of
his
academic
pursuit
is
very
high.
He
is
consistently
in
the
laboratory
and
is
always
setting
milestones
for
himself.
He
is
also
constantly
contacting
me
for
advice
on
how
to
learn
better.
I
noticed
that
he
has
very
strong
apptitude
towards
management
and
is
interested
to
know
how
management
decisions
are
being
made
at
my
level.
2) Technical
Knowledge:
Although
Sherman’s
academic
results
may
not
show,
his
technical
know-‐how
is
commendable.
He
is
able
to
do
well
particularly
in
hardware
and
has
won
a
few
awards
for
the
unmanned
aerial
vehicle
he
built
with
his
partner.
3) Creativity:
Throughout
several
discussions
with
Sherman,
I
sense
that
he
is
able
to
think
laterally
and
able
to
articulate
his
line-‐of-‐thoughts
very
well.
He
is
able
to
condense
information
and
translate
them
into
creative
ideas,
not
just
solving
technical
issues
but
also
management
issues.
4) Personaility
and
Leadership:
Sherman
has
no
personality
issues.
He
is
always
with
a
close
group
of
friends
and
is
able
to
participate
in
group
discussions
with
relative
ease.
He
will
not
hesitate
to
contribute
to
any
discussion
and
very
often
is
charismatic.
His
friends
including
myself
finds
it
pleasurable
to
have
him
in
informal
group
chats.
I
sensed
that
he
has
an
innate
ability
to
inspire
people
around
him
and
as
such
he
has
been
appointed
as
the
President
of
UAVonics
Society
in
our
School.
I
am
very
proud
to
have
known
this
young
man
in
my
academic
career.
Sherman
is
by
far
one
of
the
most
forthcoming
students
I
have
met
with
the
can-‐do
attitude.
I
believe
that
he
will
be
a
very
strong
asset
to
any
organization
who
hires
him.
Please
do
not
hesitate
to
contact
me
should
you
require
additional
information.
