5. Nestle group’s ever-growing product portfolio and
its global presence are attributed to their focus on
its core strengths and its alignment with the
opportunities available. At the same time, Nestle’s
focus on threats and has to work on its weaknesses
to tackle every change in the environment. Its main
strength is its brand value and its broad product
portfolio which have all categories of product for
its different consumers. Nestle does individual
branding for their different brands which helps in
creating awareness about their various food brand.
CONCLUSION
6. It's major weakness lies in the legal & consumer issues they face due to
several controversies faced by them which leads in social criticism and
decreases the brand value. when the maggi controversy happened
there was a brand shift. The brand opportunity lies in clear and
accurate labeling because nestle has always been accused of misleading
its consumer with it's labeling. If they mention everything correctly and
from where its coming it will be very much beneficial for the brand. As
the consumer this days are very contious about their health.
It sees a major threat from its competitors hershey's, unilever. kellogs
are some of the popular brands which are giving competition to nestle.
Due to which customer preferences are changing. COVID-19 has also
done a huge shift in the market.Nestlé has proven to be a very solid and
stable company that has a large loyal consumer base. Nestle has an
estimated net worth of more than $270 billion as of April 2021.
