believechildrenshouldbe exposedtomany,manybooksthroughouttheirlifetime. Ienjoyspendinga
goodamount of my dayreadingto my studentswhetheritbe a picture bookwithmanyor few words,or
a small chapterbookto expose the youngonestoliteracy. Ialwaysinclude passioninmyteachingof
Social Studiesbecause Ifindthese momentsinHistorytobe mostintriguing. Ilike tobe on a schedule
and keepmystudentsona schedule. Ibelieve thatthe besttype of learningforastudentisdiscovery
learningoras I wouldsay"learningbydoing"meaning,thatmystudentswilllearnthe mostandtake
away the mostfrom handson activities. Ibelieve centersare animportantpart to everydaylearningin
the classroomwhetheritbe a math,reading,Science orSocial Studiescenter. Mygoalsfor my
classroomare to ensure eachstudenttakessomethingawayfrommyclasseachday, eachstudent
learnsto love booksandreading,eachstudentissafe everydayand mostimportantlythateachstudent
learnssomethingtheycanuse intheirfuture whentheygrow up. I believe thatchildrenare the light
