I am currently working for a national provider of student accommodation as the City Manager
for all sites in Sheffield. I am responsible for managing all resources (Through the residence
teams) to deliver operational effectiveness and financial targets for the Sheffield sites, in line
with the organisations strategy, objectives and values, in order to deliver outstanding customer
service and operational excellence
2010 – Date General Manager – Liberty Living Sheffield
I am currently working for a national provider of student accommodation as the General
Manager for all sites in Sheffield. I am a self motivated candidate who is willing to “Go the extra
mile”. I am responsible for all aspects of business and buildings management of over 300 units
over 3 different sites. I am a competent leader of people who works well under pressure and
relishes a challenge. As General Manager, I manage different teams of deputies,
administrators, maintenance and housekeepers whilst over seeing the duties of any contract

2. 2009 – 2010 Organisational Development Officer – Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council
Responsible to the Organisational Development Manger for the specification, procurement and
the implementation of information systems within Adult Social services in Barnsley
Specifically to lead in all aspects of Configuration Management, Information Management and
to manage the administrative support which include all Register and Log maintenance. Also to
take responsibility for the management of procurement and delivery of services and products
that by liaising and progress chasing external suppliers to enable the projects to be delivered
on time, to the correct specification and within budget
2002 – 2009 Senior Facilities & Administrative Manager - Headquarters Catterick Garrison.
Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer, CEO for all Facilities and Administrative support
within Catterick Garrison. This includes providing a full range of support to all 48 Departments
(each department manning up to 250 personnel) within Catterick Garrison and an element of
support to all 9 Major Units (each Unit manning up to 650 personnel). This responsibility also
covers Garrison assets that are held for Ministry of Defence, MOD use, specifically sports and
leisure facilities and transit accommodation throughout the Garrison.
1999 – 2002 Senior Logistics Manager – Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe.
Providing all the Logistical, Maintenance and Technical support for all British personnel at
NATO Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, HQ NATO SOUTH in Madrid. Besides
the normal Logistical support I was responsible for the accommodation services for all married
quarters (housing) in the low countries, including the official residences for 4 star Officers and
below.
Acted as the assistant personnel officer for all civilian personnel employed by the UK working
in Belgium.
1998 – 1999 Infantry Permanent Staff Instructor (PSI)
Sheffield University Officer Training Corps.
Responsible for the training and development of potential officers from the University circuit.
This included the planning, implementation and co-ordination of work/training programmes.
Liaising at all levels (Regular and Territorial), providing instruction and guidance in a variety of
areas to both trained staff and basic recruits. Performed the duties as the main lynchpin for all
Infantry/Tactical input in the co-ordination and planning of the Unit, simulated operational
activities and annual camp.
