with a clear hero/heroin. These are often based around typical teen
subjects such as dating, prom or friendship and then turn these
into eventful and horrifying situations.
3. Monster-horror!
⢠This is focused up the struggle between monsters and
humans. The monster is usually created in a âexperiment
gone wrongâ situation and a hero/heroin is often presented to
destroy the monster and save the day. Although these types
of films are often seen in the genre of science-fiction, they
also fall in the horror genre.
Slasher
⢠These are usually based upon a psychopathic killer who
stalks and murders his victims. These are often memorable
and violent ways.
4. Supernatural-horror!
⢠These include ghosts, spirits, demons or other supernatural
occurrences. Common themes include the afterlife, the devil
and demonic possession. They also often feature some form
of religion into the plot.
Zombie-horror!
⢠These are often humans who are usually raised from the
dead. They often contain some form of zombie invasion and
frequently includes the element of man Vs zombie. They can
also be included in the comedy and sci-fi genre.

dead. Filming may be done by the actors involved and
common conventions includes things like shaky
