2. WHAT IS AN ENNEAGRAM
• A system of classifying personality types that is based on a nine-
pointed star-like figure inscribed within a circle in which each of
the nine points represents a personality type and its psychological
motivations (such as the need to be right or helpful) influencing a
person's emotions, attitudes, and behavior.

• Type One (REFORMOR)is principled, purposeful, self-controlled, and perfectionistic.
• Type Two (HELPER) is generous, demonstrative, people-pleasing, and possessive.
• Type Three (ACHIEVER) is Success-Oriented, Pragmatic Type: Adaptive, Excelling, Driven, and Image-Conscious
• Type Four (INDIVIDUALIST) is Sensitive, Withdrawn Type: Expressive, Dramatic, Self-Absorbed, and
Temperamental
• Type Five (INVESTIGATOR) is Intense, Cerebral Type: Perceptive, Innovative, Secretive, and Isolated.
• Type Six (LOYALIST) is Committed, Security-Oriented Type: Engaging, Responsible, Anxious, and Suspicious.
• Type Seven (ENTHUSIAST) The Busy, Fun-Loving Type: Spontaneous, Versatile, Distractible, and Scattered.
• Type Eight (CHALLENGER) Powerful, Dominating Type: Self-Confident, Decisive, Willful, and Confrontational
• Type Nine (PEACEMAKER) is receptive, reassuring, complacent, and resigned.
