A fantastic contract opportunity for a SAP Payroll Specialist / Coordinator to join the project team of
a leading provider of next-generation consulting, technology and outsourcing solutions.
Job Title: SAP Payroll Specialist
Role Summary/Purpose:
• Full responsibility for processing and quality control of payroll.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
• Payroll responsible. Key task is to ensure that monthly payroll is processed within deadlines and
with zero defects
• Co-operate with payroll stakeholders including HR, payroll service provider and controllership
team to resolve variances and solve problems
• Co-operate with HR to enhance payroll related data and processes in ERP systems
• Provide payroll expertise and advice to internal customers
• Prepare statistics relating to payroll performance, management of timesheets, management of
employee quotas, etc
• Participate in other day to day and Ad Hoc activities in the Controllership Team
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a
minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar position).
• Knowledge of Norwegian union agreements and offshore workers compensation and Norwegian labour
regulations.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP

• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training which insures the ability to
perform the work may substitute for the above that the employer may find appropriate and
acceptable.
• Ability to balance workload under short deadlines and changing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
