I the undermentioned have read the vacancy announcement you noticed stating that The
International Committee of the Red Cross Delegation to Ethiopia is seeking qualified and
experienced applicant for the position of LEGAL OFFICER.
I have successfully completed my Master’s program in International Human Rights Laws and
acquired LL.M Degree at the University of Gondar with accumulated GPA 3.94 and Excellent
Research Work in June 2015. During my stay in the program, I have acquired the necessary
advanced knowledge and skills in various legal courses which could enable me efficiently carry
out my legal works. Besides, I have followed the two years extensive Legal Professionals
Training Program and entitled with Post Graduate Certificate for Judges and Public
Prosecutors in 2009. Addis Ababa University, particularly Law Faculty has awarded me my
bachelor of Laws (LL.B Degree) during my under graduate study in 2007.
With regard to my work experience, I have been an instructor at the Law Faculty of New
Millennium University College in 2009/2010. I was Public Prosecutor and Coordinator of
Public Litigation Department of Justice Offices in various places including in the hardship
areas of the Tigray Regional State. Consequently, I have efficiently, ethically and legally
resolved various public litigation matters while I was Public Prosecutor.
At present, I am an Officer of Market Oversight Directorate of Ethiopia Commodity Exchange
Authority at Gondar Coordinating Office. For further information, I have attached you herewith
