He particularly enjoys Pinot Noir but is always looking to try new and
interesting premium wines. What actions can you take to create a unique,
memorable and personal experience?
Briefly tell the guest about your recommendations (e.g., vintage, variety,
region, etc.) and share with him any interesting information or your own
personal stories about the wines, vineyards, or wine masters and offer to send
him a tasting flight.
Invite the guest to any upcoming events that may interest him (e.g., We are
hosting a vintner dinner tomorrow night featuring Pisoni Vineyards. May I
make a reservation for you?”
Introduce the guest to the Sommelier so that they may further discuss the
guest’s wine interest (e.g., vintage, variety, region, etc.)
Share with the guest additional wine tasting events that are taking
place in the area.
Offer to set up a tour and tasting with the wine master of a local
vineyard.
