1. To whom it may concern.
It is a true pleasure for me to write this letter of recommendation for Sean Woolsey,
who was my student in CS101, “Survey of Computing” during winter quarter of
2014 at Everett Community College.
Sean is without a doubt one of the best students I have had in my teaching career.
Sean is a driven, intelligent, creative thinker with a strong technical background in
Computer Science and Information Systems. He also is equipped with a strong set of
soft skills which so many Information Technology professional lack, this gives him a
unique and distinct advantage over his peers.
Sean has a very strong skill in understanding advanced and complex technologies
quickly, that will allow him to adopt various new skills quicker than the average
student or even seasoned IT professional.
His regular contributions to class discussions provided insight to both his peers and
for me as an instructor.
Sean breaks the traditional IT stereotype with his thoughtful insights and kind yet
enthusiastic demeanor.
After taking my class, I recommended him to our e-learning department to help
assist other students with our learning management system. He did a wonderful job
assisting peers while troubleshooting documenting technical issues.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sean for any job/internship within the IT field.
Sean is a capable, a quick learner that has exceptional customer service skills.
