Sean Penton is a character rigger who has always been fascinated by and passionate about rigging. He served in the army reserve as a military policeman, where he learned problem solving and other skills. Penton is now studying game art and further developing his rigging skills to have a positive impact with his unique blend of talents.

4. Hello, I’m Sean
Penton, and I’m a
Character Rigger.

5. I have always thought of myself as a problem solver,
no issue is to big or too small for me to fix.

6. Ever since I was first introduced to Rigging I have
been fascinated by it.

7. Creating the machine that will bring the 3D models
to life is amazing.

8. Being a Rigger also means being a problem solver,
using scripts and other tools to fix issues and make
everyone else’s jobs easier.

9. Finding a path for your passions.

10. At 19, I enlisted in the Army Reserve as a Military
Policeman (MP).

11. I have received many awards for the work I have
done while I was in the service.

12. Merging the two passions, walking two paths.

13. The skills I learned as an MP, I believe, prepared me
for the kind of work riggers face daily.

14. Translating the Army’s values into my values.

15. I am currently enrolled in Full Sail University as a
Game Art Student and halfway through the
program.

16. Learning new tricks for the new path.

17. In my personal life I always strive for excellence,
I hone my skills on my spare time by
practicing and researching.

problem solving skills one also needs creativity.
