The Train Depot Maintenance Manager
 Will need to be qualified to ONC in Engineering or possess similar experience within a
Railway organisation
 Show a track record of managing a team of mechanical and electrical maintenance
technicians
 Will have experience of People and Process Management gained in an engineering
environment
 Have Contract and Commercial knowledge
 Be able to show knowledge of continuous improvement principles and techniques
 A practical knowledge of health and safety management
 Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership capabilities
The Rolling Stock Depot Maintenance Manager will be responsible for
 Management of all resources including people, plant, material, tools, and third party service
support to meet operational requirements
 Ensuring all maintenance activities are undertaken in accordance with the relevant
maintenance instruction and Group Standards.
 Collaboration with customers to meet operational requirements.
 Ensuring budget objectives are met and the criteria are identified for monitoring progress
and measuring success.
