FADE IN:
SCENE 1: INT. NOAH’S HOUSE, RINGWOOD, HAMPSHIRE.
His room is messy – unkempt, you can tell that he has
quite clearly given up on looking after himself. No one has
ever been inside except him and it is dusty, like no one
has ever tried to help clean or do anything with it. It is
small; most of the room is taken up by his bed and his
desk, so there is very little space to walk around at all.
Noah is sat in his chair at his desk. He is slumped over
and leaning on his desk, not asleep but not quite awake
either. His phone is unlocked on the desk with absolutely
no notifications. He opens snapchat and stares at the blank
home screen. No messages, zero friends, even though he has
sent over 30 friend requests in the last two days. The
computer is also on and again zero friends are shown.
Suddenly, a notification appears on his phone. Noah jumps
awake, hoping that one of his friend requests have been
accepted; however, the message reads ‘from Team Snapchat’.
He is distraught and starts to lightly bang his head on the
desk.
SCENE 2
MUM (FROM OFF SCREEN)
Dinner!
Noah’s head jolts up, a slight red mark forming on his head
due to the banging. He slowly gets up, leaves his room and
approaches the dinner table. He notices that his Mum, Dad
and brother are already sat down and eating. He sits in his
usual place. The dining room is an open space; it is clean
and modern with a large wooden table in the center. The
table has three chairs grouped together at one end, taken
up by the rest of the family. A fourth chair is placed at
the other side of the table, alone. Noah sits in the fourth
chair.
NOAH
Where’s my food?
MUM
Oh, guess we forgot about you… There is
still some in the pan. Help yourself.

NOAH
Right…
The rest of the family continue eating and talking,
excluding him as if he wasn’t there.
NOAH
I need some friends.
REST OF THE FAMILY
We know.
HENRY
But how are you going to do that? You’re
super boring, dull and kinda depressing.
NOAH
Yeah. I might just get an app.
HENRY
Like grindr...?
NOAH
Shut up Henry.
MUM
You know that you usually have to put a
photo on those kind of things… and once
they see that... well it’s all over.
NOAH
We will see about that…
FADE TO BLACK
SCENE 3: INT: NOAH’S HOUSE, RINGWOOD, HAMPSHIRE. – DAY
(FLASH FORWARD)
While faded in black, big white letters appear on the
screen reading ‘7 days later’.

Noah stares intently at his phone, his eyes red,as if he
hasn’t looked away since he downloaded the apps. These
include finding friends apps and he has gone as far as even
downloading grindr. Noah’s mother opens the door to his
room and looks at him sat on his bed. A look of disgust
crosses her face as she says
MUM
Told you it wouldn’t work. Do something
useful with your life and go get some
milk.
NOAH
Can you give me some money to pay for it?
MUM
Yes, it’s over there (points at Noah’s
wallet)
NOAH
Oh, Okay. See you in a minute.
DAD
Hopefully not… (Said in the background)
NOAH
Love you too Dad.
DAD
Shut the fuck up (said under his breath)
Noah slowly rises from his bed, grabs his wallet and
proceeds to the door. Once leaving the house, he doesn’t
have a chance to turn around and close the door as his Dad
already has.
SCENE 4: EXT RINGWOOD ROADS-DAY-
Noah slowly strolls to the store, walking and listening to
his surroundings, knowing that this is the only happy
moment he will have in his day. He looks up to see the
clouds; however, the moment is quickly ruined by a bird
shit landing on his forehead and dribbling into his eye.
His head stays perfectly still and he nods to himself as if
he knew this was going to happen. This is followed up by

NOAH
FUCK!
Noah wipes the shit from his forehead and continues his
journey to the store. Noah does not notice this but
everyone else on the streets are on the other side of the
road to him and the people who are on his side hastily
cross the road to get away from him. Noah makes it to the
store walks in and buys the milk. The store clerk does not
give him the time of day and he is once again completely
ignored, he could have walked into the shop and not even
paid as he was this invisible.
SCENE 5: EXT RINGWOOD ROADS-DAY-
On his way home the same thing happens. Everyone crosses
the road and gets away from him. However this changes when
a person stays on the same pathway as him and a smile comes
across Noah’s face thinking someone had noticed him for
once. However as they get closer Noah realizes that he is
so invisible that the man can’t even see him. Noah thinks
the man will move but he doesn’t and they collide into each
other and the milk goes everywhere, over both of them and
all over the ground.
STRANGER
Why the fuck did you run into me like that
you giant oaf
NOAH
Sorry… I thought you were going to move...
STRANGER
OH what so this is my fault then
NOAH
Nono I am not saying that
STRANGER
You know what I should sue you for...ummm
physical and emotional damage for having
to look at you for so long and I would win
my daddy has a lot of money you know...

NOAH
I mean there is not much point I have no
money I spent all of that on the milk
that’s on you.
STRANGER
Right that’s it I am going to sue your
arse. I am going to put you in the ground
Someone from across the street hears the commotion and
crosses the street to intervene.
FELIX
Why are you shouting at him?
STRANGER
He threw all his milk over me!
NOAH
I didn’t he just tried to walk right on
through me and then decided to sue me…
FELIX
Well that’s just udderly ridiculous…
An awkward silence swept across the group no one daring to
speak
FELIX
Look just ignore that and anyway leave him
alone it both your faults.
STRANGER
But he-
FELIX
Seriously leave him alone
The stranger angrily storms away wiping milk off of him as
he does, muttering random gibberish underneath his breath.
Noah and Felix both smile at each other, Felix begins to
chuckle

FELIX
Well, hey I am Felix
Noah just awkwardly stood there not knowing what to say
while just starring at Felix in awe as hoping he has found
his first friend
FELIX
And your name?
NOAH
Friend – I mean Noah
Felix goes to pick up the empty milk bottle off the floor
FELIX
Well sorry you lost your milk friend.
NOAH
Oh it’s alright this is the best
conversation I have had all week so I
don’t mind.
Noah and Felix begin walking back towards Noah’s home as
they were coincidentally walking the same way, they just
continued walking and talking getting to know each Noah
held himself back a bit so he wouldn’t put his new friend
off.
We hear the two talking as they walk away becoming friends
as they laugh and talk.
Noah makes it back to his home eventually and parts ways
with his new friend but however before he leave Felix asks
FELIX
You have a phone right?
NOAH
Yeah you’re not going to smash it are you?
I got tricked like this in school before
EXT.SCHOOL-DAY-FLASHBACK

Does a small grayscale flashback where it shows a student
with Noah’s phone. Throw it on the floor and begin laughing
at him.
EXT.OUTSIDE NOAHS HOUSE-DAY-BACK TO PRESENT
Felix laughs with Noah also awkward laughing even though he
knows yet again it was a true statement.
FELIX
Look just give it here
Noah hands over his phone – which is a bad Nokia brick
phone
FELIX
Wow modern
NOAH
Yeah this is my first phone
FELIX
When did you get this thing?
NOAH
Around about 8 years ago…
FELIX
Right well… I have put my phone number in
here, let’s meet up at some point
Felix walks away without saying another word leaving Noah
gob smacked not knowing what to say. Noah approaches his
front door and rings the bell multiple times as it is
locked. Noah sees his parents look through the little
window at him and then just walk away, he keeps on pressing
the doorbell for around 1 minute until Henry finally
answers the door.
SCENE 6: INT - NOAHS HOUSE -DAY-
Noah not being able to help himself bursts out with

NOAH
Guess who has a friend
HENRY
What, your imaginary friend found a friend
and left you?
NOAH (AKWARD SILENCE)
No you idiot, ME I did
DAD
Yeah sure…
NOAH
I did look watch this
Noah pulls out his phone and calls Felix and Felix doesn’t
pick up… Noah’s face turns blood red in embarrassment his
family begin to laugh at him as he is such a
disappointment. A couple of seconds go by, Noah’s phone
vibrates, and a Text message comes through...
FELIX (TEXT)
“Wow that was quick when we meeting up?”
DAD
What the fuck…
This will be the happiest moment of Noah’s life, he has
proved his family wrong and he finally has a friend.
NOAH
But um sorry yeah I dropped the milk
MUM
Why did you go out to get milk we have
tons of it.
NOAH
Then why- what-huh-ugh
Noah returns to his room.

SCENE 7: INT: NOAH’S HOUSE, RINGWOOD, HAMPSHIRE. – DAY
While In Black big white characters appear on the screen
saying 2 months later
Opens up to Noah pulling his phone out of his pocket as he
is getting a call from Felix
NOAH
Ello
FELIX
You coming down or out
NOAH
Yup I will be right down
You can see that Noah’s confidence has risen although he is
still timid but he has come out of his shell a bit. We see
Noah walk out of him house and see the door close, the
camera turns to see Noah’s parents and we see their shocked
and surprised faces, especially his brother, the parents
still don’t really care.
SCENE 8: MONTAGE – VARIOUS
A) EXT. MINI GOLF BOURNEMOUTH – DAY – We see Noah and
Felix playing mini golf laughing having fun like best
friends, we see them acting close.(I want it to be
overly couply)
B) INT. RESTAURANT – NIGHT – Noah and Felix are sharing a
candle lit dinner together and sat around them are all
couples- I want them again to be overly couply, they
will feed each other and do the linking arms drinking
C) INT. CINEMA – NIGHT – Noah and Felix are going to be
watching a film together.
D) EXT. BOURNEMOUTH PIER – DAY – Noah and Felix are
walking down the pier having fun and just enjoying the
day they are having together.
E) INT. NOAHS ROOM – DAY – Noah and Felix will be in his
room playing video games and enjoying each other’s
company

SCENE 9: INT- NOAHS HOUSE – DAY –
NOAH
Alright I am going out to meet with Felix
I am not sure when I will be back
MUM AND DAD TOGETHER
We don’t care
HENRY
You finally getting to third base?
NOAH
No, I am surprising him for his birthday,
giving him a present
HENRY
So you are getting to third base, how you
finding him? You’re stalking him aren’t
you?
NOAH
Well I need to give him the present I got…
HENRY

SCENE 10: INTERCUT- WALKING NOAH / MULTI-STORY CAR PARK
FELIX
EXT. WALKING TOWARDS CAR PARK – EARLY MORNING- LOCATION 1
Noah walks along the path towards the car park which he
knows Felix is inside, he is constantly checking his phone
to make sure that Felix hasn’t changed location
INT. CAR PARK– EARLY MORNING- LOCATION 2
We see Felix fight an unknown man in the car park, Felix is
obviously, winning the fight over the man and beating him
senseless.
EXT. LOCATION 1
12. 12
We see the see the camera is following Noah and Felix from
the feet and up to the face it is constantly swapping
between the two friends and every time it swaps the camera
is getting higher on both of the friends. Noah continues
walking and he gets to the door of the car park.
INT. LOCATION 2
We see Felix now stood over a beaten corpse of the stranger
that we met earlier, he is out of breath and his knuckles
are all bloody.
INT. LOCATION 2
Noah is now walking up the stairs to the floor where he
believes that Felix is… Noah opens a door and walks into
Felix, who is stood over the beaten corpse, Noah drops the
present of which inside is a bottle of milk and it spills
all over the floor again
NOAH
What the… Felix what have you done… wha-
what is this
FELIX
Well Noah good question it’s a dead body…
NOAH
Why!?
FELIX
It’s what I do it’s a hobby, I look for
miserable and lonely people to kill for my
pleasure.
NOAH
That’s why you were my friend…
Noah starts to slowly back up until he hits the door he had
just walked through
FELIX
Well yeah but you are my friend, I like
you, your basically my only friend

Noah slowly pulls out his phone contemplating whether he
should call the police or not.
FELIX
Don’t do it, you are the only person I can
trust with this
NOAH
For fuck sake the first friend I make and
he is a psychopath
Noah puts his phone back into his pocket confirming that he
isn’t going to call the police on his friend even though is
a dangerous psychopath
FELIX
I’m not a psychopath it’s just a little
hobby I thought I would treat myself on my
birthday, plus I did this for you I killed
the guy who spilt that milk when we first
met
We See the milk Noah got for Felix as an inside joke
soaking the corpse on the ground.
FELIX
Aww milk see funny and thank you.
Noah just stares at Felix with a dead expression
NOAH
Yeah it’s not so funny anymore
FELIX
So you going to help me.
NOAH
Go on then, I don’t have anything better
going on and I don’t want to go back to
sleeping 18 hours a day.
FELIX
(Muttered) Well this is going to be easier
this time.

Noah awkwardly walks over to the body while Felix grabs at
the legs like he has done it many times before, he nods
towards the arms telling Noah to grab them.
FELIX
It will be easier if we share the weight
Noah tries to pick up the body and realises how heavy the
body is, after a few seconds he begins to feel weak and
gives up and drops it in frustration
NOAH
Where are we even taking this body?
FELIX
We are taking this to my car it’s just a
couple of floors up I have a barrel in the
boot should work.
As Felix finishes his sentence we hear the corpse
defecating, a vile smell fills the area they are stood in
and a bulge in his trousers appear and it starts dripping
urine, Noah’s face turns from anger and scared to pure
disgust.
FELIX
Yeah that happens.
After a long and awkward journey of the two carrying the
body to Felix’s car up the car ramps and the huge struggle
that they have to go through.
They finally get to the car
NOAH
Hold up… (Takes a minute to catch his
breath) we just carried this body all the
way up here to your car… YOUR CAR WHY
DIDN’T YOU DRIVE IT DOWN HERE
FELIX
Oh yeah, guess your right sorry about that
nothing wrong with getting some exercise
though

Noah looks at Felix with a dead expression and dead eyes as
he watches him grab a barrel from the boot of his car.
NOAH
No way is that going to fit the body
FELIX
It is trust me
After a lot of effort of putting the body into the barrel
head first and pushing and shoving. It shows that half the
legs are sticking out of the barrel
FELIX
Well shit
NOAH
Told you
FELIX
It’s not too late to kill you yet…
Noah steps back yet again and stares at Felix ready to run
away
FELIX
I’m joking chill out, you’re my only
friend, I wouldn’t do that.
Noah relaxes, as much as he can anyway
NOAH
What are we going to do now then?
FELIX
We will need to wait ‘till night

CUTS TO NIGHT
SCENE 11: INT. PARKING LOT – NIGHT

Noah and Felix wake up in the car and pull the
barrel out of the boot with the legs still sticking
out of the barrel, they awkwardly pull it out of the
boot and start rolling the barrel with the legs
sticking out around the car park, out the door and
around the streets
EXT.OUTSIDE THE CAR PARK - NIGHT
FELIX
Look we are going to have to take the back
roads to avoid suspicion if someone does
see us
NOAH
Oh because it’s not obvious what we are
doing already or have you forgot THE LEGS
ARE STICKING OUT.
The voice of Noah shouting echo’s down the dark alley in
front of them, they begin to hear footsteps coming down as
well a shadowy figure appears at the end of the alleyway we
see him look at the two and then look down at the barrel
STRANGER 2
Is that a body in there?
NOAH
Umm…-
FELIX
No it’s a prop for a YouTube video a
social experiment.
STRANGER 2
Oh snap that’s awesome I am going to look
that up when I get home that looks so real
awesome.
FELIX
Yeah there is a camera up there (points at
completely nothing up in the sky)

STRANGER 2
I don’t see it…
FELIX
Aw shame well see you later then
Both Noah and Felix awkwardly roll the barrel past the man
as he just watches them walk away
NOAH
That was close…
FELIX
Nah it’s going to be fine now let’s dump
this giant oaf.
SCENE 12: EXT BRIDGE – RINGWOOD - NIGHT
The two roll the barrel down the street and onto a
relatively small and old bridge which is around about 10
feet tall, the two struggle to lift the heavy barrel up on
the ledge to through it off but first Felix adds a couple
of bricks to add weight
NOAH
Ok let’s do this
They push the barrel off the edge, it only receives a
little splash and the barrel does not even sink the barrel
floats off down the stream.
NOAH
Well those bricks didn’t really work…
FELIX
Eh it’s fine let’s go
NOAH
Yeah time to go home my parents must be
worried sick… yeah probably not

We see Noah turn around and start walking down the path of
the old beaten path. The camera then zooms out and it shows
that Felix isn’t there and perhaps never even existed.
