SVP Marketing

2006 – 2009 (3 years)
"During Scottʼs tenure at PTC he exhibited many great marketing leadership
qualities, as noted below…
Command of a global workforce. Scott did a great job organizing and
managing a large workforce of global marketers, including those in Europe and
Asia. With sensitivity to the needs of both specific geographies/cultures and the
corporation, Scott did a great job of navigating myriad individual requests and
ensuring consistency, reuse, and efficiency with a global market in mind.
Strong relationship with the sales force. Scott made relationships with the
PTC sales force a priority for himself and his team. He fostered an open and
mutual working relationship with sales, ensuring that marketing programs and
deliverables were in sync with the needs of the sales people. Specifically, Scott
delivered on an executive thought leadership program that sales found
particularly helpful in fostering new prospects.
Great understanding of marketing operations. Scott excels at handling large
scale operations issues and project management. Most PTC programs are large
in scale and scope, involving multi-million dollar budgets and large teams, and
executed on a global scale. Scott deftly handles large efforts and applies sound
judgment in running these programs.
In summary, Scott is a strong leader with executive-level skills in both strategic
and operational areas of management. February 2, 2012
