  2. 2. muscles in the body<br />How many muscles are in the body? <br />Approx. 640<br />Muscles are classified in three different ways: Cardiac, Skeletal, and Smooth<br />The main function of muscles is to produce force and cause motion.<br />
  3. 3. Face <br />Frontalis- Primary Function is to lift the eyebrows<br />Temporalis- Raises the jaw<br />Orbicularis- Muscle of the lips<br />Buccinator- Pulls back the angle of the mouth and flattens the cheek area.<br />
  4. 4. Shoulder (scapula) & Arms (Humerus)<br />Deltoid- Rotates arm at shoulder<br />Pectoralis Major- Flexes arms at shoulder<br />Coracobrachialis- Adducts arm at shoulder<br />Biceps- Flex arm at shoulder<br />Brachialis- Flexes elbow joint<br />
