Analyzing LTE sites KPIs and suggesting recommendations to improve them according to
customer requirement.
Site shakedown analysis for Coverage, Throughput, Handovers. Azimuth verification,
Identification of swapped feeder cables.
Good understanding of Handover procedures, parameters & Neighbors in LTE.
Knowledge of LTE Network Architecture and Protocols, Control Plane Protocols, User
Plane Protocols.
Radio Resource Control (RRC), System Information (SIB) and layer 3 messaging.
Experienced in Inter Radio Access Technology (IRAT) Handoff & Circuit Switch Fall Back
(CSFB) Analysis.
Troubleshooting the RRC, ERAB, HHO, HHI degradations.
PCI Overshooting analysis, Missing Neighbor detection.
Physical Parameters Verification of new sites and Swap as per the planning data.
Responsible for KPI TEST scenarios for the performance management of LTE integrated
sites. (Test consisted of points such as Data Uplink & Downlink, Ping Test, handovers
checking, circuit-switched fallback and carrier aggregation)
Monitoring & Ensure consistent RSRP, RSRQ and SINR parameters performance for better
coverage of the site.
Modifying the threshold And Cell parameter for better cell-reselection 3G to 4G.
Co-ordinate with DT team members for supporting them to overcome any issues arising
on the field.
Investigating the new/swap sites in the network after the integration/swap and scheduling
drive test for network services.
Responsible for checking the radio performance for the newly integrated LTE sites.
Statistical analysis for Quality Improvement by regular KPI checks (Accessibility,
Retainability, Mobility, Availability and Integrity) and specific counters checks for
troubleshooting like the RRC drop reasons, RRC connection fails and HO prep fails.
Daily worst performing cell check based on KPI criteria and optimize them by the
recommendations.
LTE Standards and Parameter Changes Recommendation (PCI, qrxlevmin, and IRAT
parameters etc.)
Coordinating site visitor engineers for troubleshooting issues and provides the technical
support to rectify the issues.
Responsible for Preliminary Acceptance Certificate (PAC) of new LTE integrated sites.
Various kind of reports preparation as per requirement.
2. 3G Part
Verification of RF parameters of new site by field drive test.
Responsible for unlocking of new integrated carries.
Initial/Post tuning for the roll out of the WCDMA network of MTNI operator in IRAN.
Physical configurations and default parameter tuning.
Login to RNC using Citrix Applications to check the parameters of Node B and RNC.
Worst cell statistical analysis.
Analyzing the bad performance cell statistic in the responsible sites such as %call setup
success, %drop call, %cell availability, Interference level and etc.
Issuing change request such as parameter changes, physical configuration changes and
hardware or transmission checking requests too.
RF field optimization (antenna tilt and azimuth correction, suggesting Scrambling code
change etc.).
Analyze the drive test data and identifies problems. Escalating service degrading issues to
concerned department for timely resolution.
Monitor & analyze the WCDMA/HSPA Radio Network Statistics on daily basis, and working
on worst cells to improve KPIs.
Responsible for reducing congestion and drops, improving the IRAT Handover, Soft
Handover, Location Update, Paging, CSSR, RRC Connection & RAB Establishment
Success rate in the 3G RAN network for all Voice, High Speed.
HSDPA (Accessibility, Retain ability, Data Volume & Throughput)
Issuing capacity requests whenever needed (based on Code, Power, Iub, or CE Utilization)
3G/3G & 3G/2G Handover/Cell Reselection parameters.
Good experience in Ericsson RNO OSS tools (WMRR, WNCS).
Experienced in Business Object, Moshell.
Responsible for the drive test analysis of my area and taking the necessary action to
improve the performance (Dropped/Blocked calls, IRAT/SHO Failures, and Pilot Pollution)
Defining nominal neighbor list 3G-3G and 3G-2G for new integrating sites.
Experience in Radio Network Optimization including KPI statistics monitoring,
performance improvement recommendations, parameter consistency checking, fault
finding and troubleshooting, coverage and capacity redesign proposals, miscellaneous
RNC feature activation, and strategic optimization trials.
