CENSUS
As a college student, it is difficult to find all
the resources you need to put you through
college. A challenge most students face is
trying to fund their education, whether it be
through student loans or scholarships. We have
decided to research how monetary limitations
and resources can change and influence one’s
choice of schooling.
Background Investigation
Determine the effects financial
situations have on student’s
choice of school and career
RESEARCH QUESTIONS
vWhere they are currently attending college
vIf money affected their choice of school, major, or career
vHow many people are in student loan debt and approximately how much
vHow many colleges have they attended
vHow long they have to attend school
vPercentage of students that are paying their way through college without assistance from their legal
guardians
vHow many students have been granted scholarships
vAre students more cautious of their grades due to the standards of scholarships (Ex: HOPE)
vWhat career would have been pursued if schooling was not so expensive
