Automotive India Ltd. (JSAI) In India for the manufacture of column Electric
power Steering in Partnership with Sona koyo Steering Systems Ltd.
(SKSS).Manufacturing operations at JSAI, Which is located in the bawal
Industrial Area with in the Indian state of Haryana. JTEKT owns 51% of the
joint venture, and SKSS (also is located in Haryana and in which JTEKT holds a
20.1% share) owns 49% JTEKT SONA Automotive India Ltd. (JSAI is
manufacturing COLUMN ELECTRIC POWER STEERING.Jsai is tier-1 supplier of
CEPS supplying to Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Renault Nissan Automotive India

2. JOB PROFILE
 To ensure Quality of B.O.P & visit to vender premises to short out quality problems.
 Responsible to layout inspection as per schedule.
 To Inspect Incoming material from Supplier as per Sampling Plan.
 Provided inspection facilities for the development of new components.
 Inspection of samples on latest measuring machines like ROUNDNESS
TESTER,ROUGHNESS TESTER, COUNTER TESTER, PROFILE PROJECTOR, UTM.
 Responsible for raising the quality complaint Note against defects in BOP parts.
 Inspection of heat treated part on hardness tester(MICRO VICKER, VICKER &
ROCKWELL )
 Manpower handling as per plan.
 Preparing the inspection std.& Checke sheets for all BOP parts.
 Involvement in Manufacturing Machines Trial activities such as ITO, TTO, HVPT,
SOP to ensure supplier parts behavior during machining & assembly.
 New gauges & tooling inspection.
 Knowledge of engineering drawing and G D & T.
 Member of ASAICHI for In house rej. Analysis & countermeasure taken to reduce in
house rejection by using 7QC TOOL, 8D, WHY-WHY ANALYSIS.
 Doing Calibration & Validation of measuring- instruments & Gauge as per plan.
 To make MOM (Minutes of meeting) with gauges supplier n line rejection through QM &
Quality circle.
 Handling Supplier Complaints and Verifying Corrective Actions.
