Sasha Toop proposes creating an opening title sequence for the TV show "The Walking Dead" using the animation software Blender. They chose this idea because it will showcase creativity and skills while appealing to the large fanbase of the popular show. The sequence will incorporate zombie-related visuals and the show's theme song. Sasha plans to create an apocalyptic scene in Blender and add the title and music to animate the credits.

2. My idea
My idea is to create an opening title sequence, using blender
to animate the visuals. The sequence will be for the show
‘The Walking Dead’, using themes of horror / zombie related
genre.

3. Why I chose this idea
I have chosen this idea as it’s unique and will show a high
level of creativeness and skills. Also, The Walking Dead is a
very popular show, having 11.4 million viewers which means
my production will appeal to a very large audience, including
2.5% of these viewers being under 17. Additionally, by
creating this piece I’ll be learning new software (blender)
which will help if I ever want to do anything similar for future
projects.

4. How I plan to make this idea
I plan to create this opening sequence by using the program ‘blender’, using this software I’ll
create an apocalyptic looking scene and incorporate the Walking Dead title and theme song into
it.

Stranger Things uses an animated titles for their opening credits, it’s short and unique to their
show; the viewers recognise it which is what makes it so appealing. I’d like to do a similar title
animation for my production, but using the Walking Dead title.

Unlike the Stranger Thing’s titles Pixar uses more graphics, this is done as the movie is aimed at
a younger audience, therefore the piece needs to be colourful and fast past to engage them.
