1. Uniquely positioned on the prominent southeast corner of Grant Park in downtown
Chicago, One Museum Park East is the second tallest all-residential tower in the
United States. The multi-colored blue and silver glass façade gestures towards the
reflective waters of Lake Michigan. The graceful, amorphous massing allows every unit
to capture primary views of both the lakefront and Grant Park.A series of stepped,
curved terraces rise up the flanks of the tower, slowly receding to reveal the building’s
core which soars 720 ft, gracing Chicago’s skyline with its illuminated silver elliptical

Finalizing the composition of the three towers,
this building design reaches tall to anchor the
northeast position of the site.An expressive
copper cladding top, acting like a horizontal
spine to hide the building’s infrastructure,
directs the eye back to the building’s taller,
colonnaded banquet room at the leading east
edge of the tower.
The pedestrian-scaled base provides an active
streetscape, while Integrated bronze-tinted win-
dows and regimented balconies placed within the
mid-section’s formal colonnade define the core of
the building. Extended cornices, Doric-propor-
tioned columns, and horizontal belt-course are
used to create the building’s bold top.
An interpretative composition of classical architec-
tural language, the building base is solidly grounded,
while the unit bays represent repetitive fluted
columns designed to stand tall. The tower culminates
in a brilliant copper dome, heralding a landmark
beacon for residents and visitors, alike.

ParkTower IV awes and inspires. The 40-story
residential structure flaunts a reflective glass
façade that looks out over the surrounding
Museum Park development, Lake Michigan and
the South Grant Park Museum Campus. An
elegant exterior sweeps upward with elongated
columns and massive windows.The curved
glass clad east and west ends flank the structure
and act as bookends to the taller core. Multiple
balconies are laced into the structure – an
invitation to appreciate the striking views of the
harbor and Chicago’s breathtaking South
Chicago Loop skyline.
