current knowledge of competitive

Due to the ever-increasing cost of
health care, this industry is in a pro-
cess of reinvention. New procedures
and technology spur hospitals, im-
mediate care centers, surgi-centers
and health care complexes to reno-
vate and reconfigure existing space
and build additions or new facilities.
With our diversified background,
preconstruction services and value
engineering capabilities,Associated is
the ideal choice as a partner in these
demanding projects.
Saint Francis Hospital and Medi-
cal Center, Manchester Memorial
Hospital, Natchaug Hospital and

Commercial and office space
The complexity and dollar volume
of commercial and corporate office
projects are simply too great to rely
on chance. Every day, competitive
bids come in too high, causing expen-
sive delays, revisions and lost con-
struction time.
To the contrary, Associated works
with your design team to deliver the
cost analysis and value engineering
needed to achieve maximum quality
within budget. We have saved mil-
lions of dollars and months of delays
for our commercial clients.

Residential buildings and congregate housing
The financing and construction
costs involved in large residential and
congregate housing projects are sub-
stantial. Associated works with you
from the inception of your project to
ensure that it is cost effective. We be-
gin by advising you on your construc-
tion options based on your available
funds.
Our value engineering is an essen-
tial part of the design phase. We fo-
cus on minimizing your cost while
assuring quality construction, creat-
ing tenant-attracting amenities and
meeting all applicable government
regulations and standards.
We have a strong history of meet-
ing or improving upon construction
schedules,which reduces interest pay-
ments and generates early rental or
sale income for our clients.

ket-rate and low-income housing are
increasingly in demand. Associated
has constructed some of the premier
active adult communities and con-
