• The visual field refers to the total area in which objects can be seen in
the side vision while you focus your eyes on a central point
4. Visual Fields v/s Retinal Fields
• Visual Field describes the area in space where the object lies
• Retinal Field describes the area that includes neural fibers of the
retina that are receiving light from some object
• They are the reversal of one another
