To whom it may Concern:
I have worked for over a decade as a Recreational Therapist, and realized that although I enjoyed
my work, I was not doing something that I loved. Therefore, I returned to school in order to get a
degree in an area that I have always enjoyed, computers. I am seeking a position where I can
utilize my past and current skills for an organization that values commitment, excellence, and
loyalty.
In my studies, I have excelled at all my classes and received my A+ certification. I know how to
build a desktop from the ground up, as well as configure them. While working with ICON as a
consultant for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, I have learned a great deal and have worked with
various applications. While interning at NorthReal I became familiar with Linux, Webmin,
Logstash, Redis, and Kibana, as well as other programs. I returned to NorthReal while searching
for a job to expand my knowledge.
My years of working have taught me dedication, commitment, patience, and perseverance. Being
in the position of a Director and overseeing my staff is always full of challenges. However, I
faced each one head on, and over effectively managed my team in a positive and forthright way.
These same skills and attributes are what I will bring to any new position that I fill. Therefore, I
am asking for you to look at my skill set and see that I come with a level of professionalism that
can be hard to find.
I am optimistic that you will find my skills and experience an asset for your company. I would
like to discuss with you in greater detail my resume and skills for this opportunity.
Please contact me at the above number or email address so we can discuss further.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
