Letter of Recommendation
It is my pleasure to write this recommendation for Santosh Shrestha.
I am a Finance Professor at Southeast Missouri State University.
My interaction with Santosh was extensive while he was at Southeast Missouri. He was the
top-performing student in my graduate class, Financial Environment. I was the advisor for
his applied research paper, AStudy of the MostFrequentlyUsedCapitalBudgetingDecisionToolin
Organizations. I coordinated his graduate assistant activities while he served as a tutor for
the introductory undergraduate finance classes for four semesters. His performance in all
areas was excellent and a testament to his intelligence, discipline and organization skills.
His classroomwork was always professional,indicating a solid understanding offinance and
accounting concepts as well as demonstrating analytical and computer spreadsheet skills.
His written assignments and class presentations indicated excellent communication skills.
Santosh came to class prepared and was an active participant, consistently contributing
pertinent questions and comments. He possesses the necessary analytical skills, as well as
the determination to successfully accomplish the most difficult tasks. His performance
indicated exceptional reasoning skills and a willingness to do whatever necessary to
accomplish an assigned task. He was a pleasure to have in class, and his contributions made
each class better.
Santosh is a quality person. He is articulate and well-liked by everyone who knew him. I
have no reservations in providing Santosh with my highest recommendation.
