4. 1. Almaz has the right to autonomy
• Almaz was raped by unknown person, so her
cycle was absent for more than three months and
she has offensive discharge. There may be two
things happened
She may pregnant
She may also infected by STIs. Therefore, she has
an autonomy to know her Px status, if so and she
has the right to abort . In addition she the right to
diagnose STIs and get Rx.

5. 2. Chaltu’s responsibilities was Non-maleficence
and beneficence to Almaz
• Since Almaz was raped and facing a serious problem
she needs professional help from Chaltu and
• As Chaltu was health extension worker she must
counsel to benefite Almaz
• She planned to referred Almaz to near by health
center in order to relief the problem.
• This is an issue of non-maleficence and benefficince
principle of ethics.

• Let share a real case scenario- in Kurkure health
center. A women comes with the complaints of lower
abdominal pain, when take her Hx, PE and her
laboratory result shows, she is HIV reactive with PID.
Then after, I try to called her husband and getting the
service, but she refused for more one,
• With involving of religious fathers she agreed and take
exam and so he is reactive an d taking the treatment.
