3. Meet the organizer behind it all…
Artist, entrepreneur, designer of abstract paintings and event
planner, Nadia Lloyd is the director of Toronto Art Crawl
and the organizer behind the first Annual Christmas Show
and Sale.
Nadia started up Toronto Art Crawl in 2013 and since its
conception, it’s been recognized by blogTO as the top 5
outdoor fairs in Toronto. Nadia wants to push that further by
putting on a Christmas themed three day indoor show
featuring over 45 talented and local artists. When it comes to
hosting an event that’s fueled by passion and creativity,
Nadia works tirelessly to make sure it runs smoothly and
effectively. As an artist and entrepreneur at heart, Nadia
imagined creating her own business from scratch and
watching it materialize. To date, she’s had her work featured
on Cityline, Inside Toronto, Village Living Magazine and
sells her own abstract paintings on her website. Some of her
art work is featured below.
The first Annual Christmas Show and Sale will feature a variety of handmade jewelry, paintings,
accessories, sculptures, Christmas themed games and prizes coupled with food vendors and live
DJ’s.
Nadia feels Liberty Village is the perfect hub to host an art show because of the artistic and
creative spirit the community has. “I want people to be blown away by the talent that’s around us
and hopefully be inspired”. Nadia’s main goal as an artist and Director of Toronto Art Crawl, is
helping to form relationships between local artists and individuals from all over Canada.
The first Annual Christmas Show and Sale runs from November 21 to 23 at the Liberty Towers
Presentation Centre at 80 Lynn Williams Street. Visit torontoartcrawl.com for more details.
