Revenue collection in the first six months increased significantly despite economic challenges. Income tax revenue rose from Rs. 8.6 billion to Rs. 12.3 billion, sales tax revenue increased from Rs. 20.6 billion to Rs. 33.7 billion, and federal excise duty remained steady at Rs. 7.3 billion to Rs. 7.5 billion, contributing to an overall revenue increase from Rs. 36.5 billion to Rs. 53.5 billion.
