3. What’s the number one thing?
The Glory of God!
1 Corinthians 10:31 NKJV
31Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or
whatever you do, do all to the glory of
God.
4. Father,
Teach us Thy statutes (v12),
Open our eyes (v18),
Stir our hearts (v2,32,36),
And enlighten our minds (v27,34,73,125).
Psalm 119
5. Genesis 5:21-24TLB
21-24 Enoch: Enoch was sixty-five years old
when his son Methuselah was born.
Afterwards he lived another 300 years in
fellowship with God, and produced sons
and daughters; then, when he was 365,
and in constant touch with God, he
disappeared, for God took him!
6. Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV
5Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways (and all the time,
constantly) acknowledge Him and He
shall direct your paths.
7. 1Thessalonians 4:13 NKJV
The Comfort of Christ’s Coming
13 But I do not want you to be ignorant,
brethren, concerning those who have
fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as
others who have no hope.
8. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and
rose again, even so God will bring with
Him those who sleep in Jesus.
1Thessalonians 4:14 NKJV
9. 15 For this we say to you by the word of
the Lord, that we who are alive and
remain until the coming of the Lord will
by no means precede those who
are asleep.
1Thessalonians 4:15 NKJV
10. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from
Heaven with a shout, with the voice of an
archangel, and with the trumpet of
God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
1Thessalonians 4:16 NKJV
11. 17 Then we who are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in
the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
And thus we shall always be with the
Lord.
1Thessalonians 4:17 NKJV
13. MikeWigton’s intent in creating this
message was because of his passion for
Biblical prophecy and about the many events
foretold to happen to us in the Last Days. His
goal is to inform all with things very clearly
stated in the Bible; not to frighten but to do
as we all are instructed to do and that is to
“comfort one another” with these words.
14. When the French Christian philosopher
Blaise Pascal was asked by King Louis
XIV to prove the existence of God, his
simple answer was “The Jew.”
15. No peoples in the history of the world have
been so attacked, despised, and separated
from each other for thousands of years and
yet come back together as a nation that
quickly became a global scientific, economic
and military power.
16. One example of the blessings given to
God’s chosen people is that while Jews
today comprise less than .3% of the
world population, they have received
over 27% of all Noble Peace Prizes ever
awarded!
17. Things are happening today at an accelerating
pace that we could not have envisioned when
we first began our journey. More importantly,
as Jesus said about those end-time events
(wars, rumors of war, famine, pestilence and
earthquakes in diverse places – Matthew 24:6-
8) they would begin slowly (like a woman in
travail or labor) and intensify as the end
approached.
18. Of course as the contractions near birth
get closer to each other and more
intense, the parents don’t then have to
wait for another 6 months for the baby
to be born!Yes, we have always had
these events but never have we had so
many.
19. Ezekiel 33:1-2 NIV
1 The word of the LORD came to me:
2 “Son of man, speak to your people and
say to them: ‘When I bring the sword
against a land, and the people of the land
choose one of their men and make him
their watchman,
20. Ezekiel 33:3-4 NIV
3 and he sees the sword coming against
the land and blows the trumpet to warn
the people, 4 then if anyone hears the
trumpet but does not heed the warning
and the sword comes and takes their life,
their blood will be on their own head.
21. Ezekiel 33:5 NIV
5 Since they heard the sound of the
trumpet but did not heed the warning,
their blood will be on their own head. If
they had heeded the warning, they
would have saved themselves.
22. Ezekiel 33:6 NIV
6 But if the watchman sees the sword
coming and does not blow the trumpet
to warn the people and the sword comes
and takes someone’s life, that person’s
life will be taken because of their sin, but
I will hold the watchman accountable for
their blood.’
23. As Jesus said in the Olivet Discourse,
there are really bad times coming! But in
the same way Noah and his family
were removed before the Flood and Lot
and his family were removed from
Sodom before the judgement of Sodom
and Gomorrah so they would not go
through the coming foretold judgement,
24. we can take solace in the fact that if we
have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord
and Savior, we will not have to go
through the earthly “hell” that will be
coming during these fast approaching
end times!
25. 1Thessalonians 4:15 NIV
15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell
you that we who are still alive, who are
left until the coming of the Lord, will
certainly not precede those who have
fallen asleep.
26. 1Thessalonians 4:16 NIV
16 For the Lord himself will come down
from heaven, with a loud command, with
the voice of the archangel and with the
trumpet call of God, and the dead in
Christ will rise first.
27. 1Thessalonians 4:17-18 NIV
17 After that, we who are still alive and are
left will be caught up together with them
in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
And so we will be with the Lord forever.
18Therefore encourage one another with
these words.
28. 8 Listen!Your watchmen lift up their
voices;
together they shout for joy.
When the Lord returns to Zion,
they will see it with their own eyes.
Isaiah 52:8 NIV
29. 17 “Son of man, I have made you a
watchman for the house of Israel; so hear
the word I speak and give them warning
from Me.”
Ezekiel 3:17 NIV
30. 7 “Son of man, I have made you a
watchman for the house of Israel; so hear
the word I speak and give them warning
from Me.”
Ezekiel 33:7 NIV
31. 15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as
Lord. Always be prepared to give an
answer to everyone who asks you to give
the reason for this hope you have. But do
this with gentleness and respect,
1 Peter 3:15 NIV
32. 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that
those who speak maliciously against
your good behavior in Christ may be
ashamed of their slander.
1 Peter 3:16 NIV
33. 36 “Watch therefore, and pray always that
you may be counted worthy to escape all
these things that will come to pass, and
to stand before the Son of Man.”
Luke 21:36 NKJV
34. 7 Surely the Sovereign Lord does
nothing
without revealing his plan
to his servants the prophets.
Amos 3:7 NIV
35. 19 So we have the prophetic word made
more sure, to which you do well to pay
attention as to a lamp shining in a dark
place, until the day dawns and the
morning star arises in your hearts.
2 Peter 1:19 NASB
36. 19 And it shall be that whoever will not
hear My words, which He (the prophet)
speaks in My name, I will require it of
him.
Deuteronomy 18:19 NKJV
37. 17 Do not let your heart envy sinners,
But be zealous for the fear of the
Lord all the day;
18 For surely there is a hereafter,
And your hope will not be cut off.
Proverbs 23:17-18 NKJV
39. Proverbs 3:1-2 NKJV

attitude and deed that I do. Reverential
awe.
Wisdom is seeing things from God’s
point of view.

Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have
eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to

No one comes to the Father except through me.”
85. The Plan of Hope & Salvation
Romans 3:23 NIV
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 6:23a NIV
23a For the wages of sin is death,
• Death in this life (the first death) is 100%.
• Even Jesus, the only one who doesn’t deserve death, died in this
life to pay the penalty for our sin.
• The death referred to in Romans 6:23a is the “second death”
explained in Revelation 21:8.
86. The Plan of Hope & Salvation
Revelation 21:8 NIV
8 “But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral,
those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the
fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
• Anyone who’s lifestyle is one or more of the sins listed in Revelation 21:8,
will experience the “second death,” if they do not repent.
• To Repent means to turn around, to go in the opposite direction, to
turn away from sin and believe in Jesus.

Christ died for us.

believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you
will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and
are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and
are saved.

13 for “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be
saved.”
